GE Lighting's Latest Statement on Dealer Events

On September 29, China Light Network received a statement from GE Lighting regarding recent dealer events. The statement is as follows:

In response to the concerns raised by some dealers regarding the subsequent arrangements related to GE Lighting's termination of business activities in Asia, GE Lighting has attached great importance to this issue. GE Lighting's Global Chief Operating Officer immediately rushed to China to listen to the specific demands of dealers, and together with the China team, on a fair and just basis, clarified the following principles for handling the relevant subsequent arrangements, providing support for the smooth transition of dealer business:

1. As previously communicated with dealers, GE Lighting will fulfill all product after-sales warranty commitments originally made until the end of the after-sales warranty period;

2. We will help distributors complete customer orders that were awarded and contracts signed before November 30, 2016. Since each distributor's situation is different, we will follow up with each distributor individually and provide targeted support based on specific circumstances;

3. For distributors' existing inventory, we will follow up with each distributor individually and provide targeted support based on contracts and specific circumstances.

To fulfill these commitments, GE Lighting has established a dedicated working team to provide strong support to distributors. We believe that through open communication and sincere cooperation with our distributors, we will properly handle all relevant matters during this transition period.
