With the opening of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, "low-carbon living" has become a new lifestyle concept advocated globally. For the lighting industry, green lighting has become the world mainstream. Research shows that compared with incandescent lamps, energy-saving lamps can greatly improve electricity efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. As the largest professional lighting market in Beijing, Shilihe Lighting City has joined hands with NVC Lighting to launch a "free energy-saving lamps, 1000 per day" giveaway activity for three consecutive days during the May Day holiday. Through the free distribution of energy-saving lamps, we hope to further strengthen consumers' environmental awareness, guide consumers to use green and efficient lighting products, promote the application of energy-saving lamps, and do something practical for creating a low-carbon environment and building a healthy and harmonious life.

Over its ten years of development, Shilihe Lighting City has always put the promotion of green lighting first, and has actively responded to the national energy-saving and emission-reduction policies for many years. In 2009, the "Buy One Lamp, Donate One Lamp – Spring Breeze Action into Wenchuan" energy-saving reconstruction assistance activity delivered energy-saving lamps to earthquake-stricken areas to support post-disaster reconstruction there. In 2010, the national lighting market publicity and training activity "Gradually Eliminate Incandescent Lamps, Promote New Concepts of Efficient Lighting" was grandly launched at Shilihe Lighting City. Shilihe Lighting City has become an energy-saving pacesetter for lighting sales terminals.
