[Interpretation] Application Fields and Technology Development Direction of Special Light Sources

  The 2012 output value proportion of various application fields in China shows: landscape lighting accounts for 23%, indoor functional lighting 21%, display screens 15%, functional lighting 5%, special lighting 3%, and other applications 19%. Special lighting increased from 2% in 2011 to 3% in 2012, and is not expected to change significantly in the future. Apart from certain special optical applications, it is largely unaffected by the impact of LEDs. There are many types of special light sources with numerous special applications, which are generally difficult for ordinary people to access and be aware of.


  Special light sources, also known as special sources, refer to light sources that differ from those mainly used for general lighting, and are designed and produced for specific application fields, with a relatively narrow wavelength range and a single usage function. The foreign industry has large-scale special light sources, long-term industry alliances, market division through technical barriers, product information confidentiality, stable organizational structure, control and confidentiality of key materials, high R&D investment, clear product roadmaps, clear strategies, and is striving to enter the Chinese market. In contrast, the domestic special light source industry is small in scale and disorganized, unable to enter the OEM supporting market, lacking core technology, lacking product information confidentiality, with high personnel turnover, over-focusing on costs, not understanding customer needs, lacking information, lacking information exchange mechanisms, no price management, and no clear product strategy roadmap.


  Special light sources have now gradually become an important part of people's life and production without people realizing it, playing many irreplaceable roles in many fields such as medical care, film entertainment, plant growth, industrial production, as well as scientific research and education, national defense and aerospace. As a major country in the electric light source industry, China has an important position in the development and manufacturing of special light sources and devices, while also facing opportunities and challenges. Increasing the understanding of special light sources may open up different markets and capture the business opportunities contained therein.


  特种光源按光源的光谱分布分为三大类别:紫外光源、特殊可见光源和红外光源。下面就根据紫外光源、特殊可见光源和红外光源介绍它们的应用领域。


  紫外光源包括汞灯、氘灯、氪灯、高温黑体和紫外发光二极管。其中,汞弧光是非常有效的紫外源,其应用形式包括超高压汞灯、高压汞灯、金属卤素灯、低压汞灯等。球形超高压汞灯又称为短弧汞氙灯,几乎代表了目前最高技术难度的制灯技术,全球现仅有极少数厂家掌握该量产技术。毛细管超高压汞灯是一种质优价廉的曝光用紫外光源。而高压汞灯是是目前工业市场上应用量最大的紫外光源。在高压汞灯内填充定量的特定种类的金属卤化物即为金属卤化物灯。金属卤化物灯在工业中曝光、晒版、固化等多种领域都有较好的应用。低压汞灯主要是用作杀菌灯。


  准分子灯是一种新型环保的无汞紫外光源,目前已有氙准分子灯投入应用。微波紫外辐射光源即无极灯作为一种新型紫外光源在我国应用已有二十多年,广泛应用于工业和杀菌消毒领域。


  近年紫外激光器是工业激光市场增长最快的一部分。主要产品包括准分子激光器、氩离子激光器和固体激光器。目前紫外激光器的发展方向是更高功率和更高重复频率。紫外发光二极管由于发展时间较短,目前还存在发光效率低的问题,可用于杀菌、传感器、生物分析等领域。


  利用可见光谱的非照明特种光源主要包括UHP灯、氙灯及舞台灯等一系列具特殊用途的光源。UHP光源是一类特殊的短弧超高压汞灯专用于各类投影设备,目前也有研究人员尝试将其应用于舞台灯光领域中。氙灯是一类利用高压氙气放电发光的光源,长弧氙灯又称管状氙灯可用于颜色检验,织物、药物等老化试验,人工气候植物培养等。短弧氙灯作为太阳模拟光源,配套相应的太阳模拟器使用。另外短弧氙灯最主要的应用是作为电影放映光源,短弧氙灯还广泛用作机场跑道灯和探照灯光源。


  目前红外光源应用形式还是以红外线灯为主,可以用来加热,工业上可应用于汽车漆面及轮毂涂层干燥、光伏产业中预热、烘干及烧结过程,汽车制造过程中中干燥油漆,医疗上大量应用于辅助治疗,日常生活中可用于食品加热消毒等。
