2011 Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition
The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition will be grandly held from June 9 to 12, 2011, with the exhibition scale reaching a new high. Over 2,500 exhibitors will gather across 20 exhibition halls, covering an area of 200,000 square meters. It has become the largest, most well-attended, and most influential industry event in the global lighting industry.

This exhibition is organized by Guangzhou Guangya Frankfurt Exhibition Co., Ltd., and is an industry event that professionals simply cannot afford to miss. Here, visitors and exhibitors can get a comprehensive view of the current state of the global lighting industry.
This year, more than 2,500 companies from 22 countries and regions have confirmed their participation, including well-known brands such as ESTO Lighting (Austria), General Electric(USA), OSRAM(Germany), Fumagalli(Italy), QSSI (USA), Reggiani (Italy) and Thorn (Austria) etc. The exhibition also features new country and regional pavilions from Hong Kong, Japan, and Taiwan.

To match this growth, the 2011 exhibition will create China's largest LED/OLED one-stop exhibition, comprehensively covering the entire market spectrum from raw materials to applications. By providing various business opportunities in this rapidly developing field, we are showcasing, through this platform, the most advanced lighting technology and developments alongside the traditional lighting industry.
The Asia LED Zone will span 8 exhibition halls with a total area of 80,000 square meters, and more than 1,500 LED exhibitors have registered to participate. A variety of concurrent events tailored for various sectors of the lighting industry
This edition features a rich variety of diversified concurrent events:
· Hui Fang: This is a brand-new networking event designed exclusively for international industry associations, offering each association the opportunity to host events and welcome visitors. Participating organizations include the U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Consulate General in Guangzhou, the Japan Lighting Manufacturers Association, the Japan LED Lighting Promotion Association, the Macau Construction Industry Chamber of Commerce, the Taiwan Electronic Equipment Association, and the Taiwan Lighting Fixture Export Association.
· Asian LED Lighting Summit: This forum is a new program. Over three days of topics, it covers subjects related to the Asian LED lighting industry and the macro environment (government policies, market dynamics, competitive environment, and market outlook) as well as the micro environment (technical aspects, product standards, cost control, and investment strategies).
· City Night Light Tour: During the exhibition, visitors can pick up the newly launched official brochure to discover the latest lighting projects in Guangzhou following the Guangzhou Asian Games.
China Lighting Distribution Market Summit: This summit is also a new project, specifically designed for distributors, covering various topics on retail and distribution in China.
Global Lighting Information Day Series: This series has always been well-received, and this edition is divided into two segments.
China Information Day: The 3rd China Lighting Information Day will invite various experts to analyze and discuss the future development and trends of China's lighting industry. Topics include the application of LED lighting in China's catering industry, design needs, and required standards.

Lighting Design Gallery: This year's theme is "Global Lighting Design Projects", which will showcase unique lighting projects from around the world to inspire a new generation of young Chinese designers. Co-organizers include renowned international industry associations: the Chinese Lighting Designers Association, the International Association of Lighting Designers, the International City Planning Lighting Association, and the Professional Lighting Designers Association.
The 7th Guangzhou International Lighting Technology Summit Forum: This forum is divided into five sessions – Design, Career Development, Industry Interaction, Case Studies and Technology – experts from overseas and the domestic market will share first-hand information on hot industry topics.
The 3rd Lighting Industry Latest Technology and Achievements Summit Forum: Industry leaders and researchers with advanced technologies will introduce various latest lighting technologies and concepts.

The 6th Zhongzhao Lighting Awards Ceremony: Organised by the China Illuminating Engineering Society, it is a competition that encourages the development of lighting products and technological innovation.
The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition will be held concurrently with the Guangzhou International Building Electrical Technology Exhibition. The latter caters to the development trend of environmentally friendly buildings, with the exhibition focusing on building electrical engineering as well as building automation and smart home.
