　　It is understood that, in the process of implementing the new strategic goals of "Scientific Development, Advancement and Catch-up, and Green Rise," Jiangxi Province has kept pace with the technological development frontier of the international and domestic lighting industry, completely abandoned the simple industrial transfer and undertaking development model of some localities, and in an extraordinary manner directly transformed and upgraded the green lighting industry—maximizing the technological content, adding high added value on the largest scale, and achieving industrial clustering at the fastest speed—in order to seize the commanding heights of the modern lighting industry within the shortest possible time. So far, Jiangxi's lighting industry has occupied a fairly important position in the country, and in the not-too-distant future, it will approach one-tenth of the domestic 3,000-billion-yuan production capacity, having already ranked among the forefront of national development with impressive performance.

　　According to authoritative industry figures attending the meeting, the seemingly inconspicuous Wuning County in the country is a green lighting high-tech industry demonstration park in Jiangxi Province, which has now gathered more than 100 energy-saving lighting enterprises, with an industrial supporting rate of over 90%, an annual output of 1 billion glass tubes, more than 130 varieties and specifications of glass tubes, an annual output of 500 million complete lamps, a main business income of nearly 4 billion yuan in 2010, profits and taxes of 500 million yuan, and 10,500 jobs created, fully demonstrating the strong momentum of the healthy development of Jiangxi's lighting industry.

Wu Zhiyun, Director of the Jiangxi Provincial SME Bureau, who made a special trip to attend the inaugural meeting of the "Green Lighting Industry Committee," pointed out that Jiangxi's lighting industry must put significant effort in the future into "industry warning analysis, industry transformation and upgrading, industry organization and training, and industry group development," and must make great strides in "building mentor teams, partnering with finance, establishing guarantee systems, strengthening R&D capabilities, and expanding external exchanges and development cooperation." He stressed the need to vigorously cultivate leading enterprises, vigorously implement brand strategy, and truly make Jiangxi's lighting industry bigger, stronger, and better nationally and internationally.

On the occasion of the establishment of the "Green Lighting Industry Committee," the attending entrepreneurs also held the First Committee Representative Assembly of the First Council, which reviewed and approved the "Working Regulations of the Green Industry Committee of the Jiangxi Province SME Association," and elected the committee leadership and member candidates, among others.
