A breaking news story about LEDVANCE and Mulinsen
Following LEDVANCE's announcement on the 14th that Lin Jiliang has been appointed as the new CEO, another breaking news story about LEDVANCE and Mulinsen has recently emerged.
On November 16, Forest Lighting, the lighting brand of Mulinsen, sent an email to its customers stating that Forest Lighting will be integrated into LEDVANCE.
Forest Lighting stated that, as you know, Mulinsen is the global parent company of both LEDVANCE and Forest Lighting. In order to maximize efficiency, Mulinsen has decided to merge these two businesses in the United States and Canada, with LEDVANCE responsible for operations and management.
It is reported that MLS uses the MLS brand domestically and the Forest Lighting brand for overseas sales. Forest Lighting was founded in 2014. With marketing and public relations efforts, it has gradually gained recognition in the North American retail and wholesale channel market, and is progressively expanding into emerging markets such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Russia.
Forest Lighting stated that MLS's goal is to accelerate product development, reduce internal costs, and most importantly, improve service to important distribution partners.
"Although the brand, resources, and product portfolio are all undergoing adjustments, Forest Lighting products are still available for purchase and supply will continue until the end. Additionally, you will soon be able to purchase our products from LEDVANCE," the email stated.
"The SYLVANIA brand is the result of over 100 years of lighting product history and experience in North America. I am delighted to share these innovations and additional synergies with everyone," said Forest Lighting COO Jian Ni.
As is well known, after the spin-off from OSRAM, LEDVANCE was authorized to use the Sylvania brand in the United States and Canada, continuing the brand advantage of the century-old company.
