The International Solid State Lighting Alliance (ISA) recently announced the important awards of the global solid-state lighting industry for 2014. Cree (Nasdaq: CREE) has claimed two honors thanks to its leading technological innovation and the significant value it brings to lighting applications. Cree's white high-power LED achieved a laboratory efficacy of 303 lm/W, winning the "2013-2014 Global SSL News of the Year." Cree's San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge lighting upgrade project in the United States in cooperation with Musco was named one of the "2014 Global SSL Top 100 Demonstration Projects."
