The 2014 China (Zhejiang) 4th LED Lighting Industry Chain Selection and Matching Conference is scheduled to be held from June 24-26, 2014 at the Guangzhizhou (Island of Light) Yangtze River Delta LED International Procurement and Trading Center in Hangzhou. The conference is hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Lighting Electric Appliance Association. Over one hundred LED lighting enterprises from East China participated in this conference, covering the full LED lighting industry chain including chips, packaging, drivers, heat dissipation, equipment, and key components. Enterprises not only showcased a large number of new products, new technologies, and new equipment, but experts at the conference also delivered technical speeches lasting up to 9 hours, with an unprecedented grandeur.

The conference theme is how to seize the initiative amid the rapid growth in LED lighting market demand. The main contents of this conference include: inviting leaders from relevant government departments to introduce the policy orientations of governments at all levels on the healthy development of the LED lighting industry; analysis of China's LED lighting industry landscape in 2013 and the top ten trends for 2014; promotion and exchange of the latest scientific research achievements in the LED lighting industry; promotion of cost-effective products from leading enterprises at the nodes of the LED lighting industry chain, including epitaxy, chips, packaging and materials, driver power supplies and components, heat dissipation devices and materials, lens and luminaire optical design and manufacturing, LED lighting devices and control systems, production equipment and testing equipment, for downstream enterprises to select and match.
At this conference, China Light Network also held the WeChat knowledge competition activity "Say Goodbye to Incandescent Bulbs, Light Up Green Life", which received enthusiastic participation from the attendees. Activity participants said that conducting the knowledge competition via WeChat is novel in form, low-carbon and environmentally friendly, and at the same time, by participating in the quiz, they increased their understanding of lighting knowledge, and are willing to more actively choose high-efficiency lighting products in the future.

The release and implementation of China's roadmap for the gradual phase-out of incandescent lamps will not only have a positive impact on the transformation and upgrading of China's lighting and electrical appliance industry, but also on energy conservation and emission reduction throughout society. The purpose of the "Farewell to Incandescent Bulbs, Light Up Green Life" series of activities is to encourage the whole society to actively use green lighting products, contributing to energy conservation and the building of clear waters and blue skies.
