Energy-Saving and Environmental Protection Industry: Identify the Breakthrough Point and Play the "Green" Card Well

The overall goal for the development of Guangxi's energy-saving and environmental protection industry is: from 2009 to 2020, through approximately 10 years of effort, to promote the rapid development of the energy-saving industry and environmental protection industry, significantly enhance the industrial structure and technological level, form and optimize supporting related industry chains, cultivate a group of leading enterprise groups, and greatly increase the proportion of the output value of the energy-saving industry and environmental protection industry in the region's total production value.

By 2012, initially form an embryonic industrial system with prominent industrial features and basically supporting energy-saving and environmental protection technologies and service industries; form more than 10 enterprises with an annual output value exceeding 1 billion yuan, and in the two fields of energy-saving and environmental protection equipment products and services, respectively form 2 to 3 companies and enterprise groups with an annual output value exceeding 100 million yuan and core competitiveness; the output value of the energy-saving industry and environmental protection industry will reach 50 billion yuan.

By 2015, support and cultivate a group of key energy-saving and environmental protection advantageous enterprises led by comprehensive resource utilization, forming the leading force of the industry; cultivate and strengthen more than 5 leading energy-saving and environmental protection enterprises with an output value exceeding 2 billion yuan, form more than 20 leading enterprises with an output value exceeding 100 million yuan, leading the rapid development of the entire industry; the annual output value of the industry will reach 80 billion yuan. By 2020, form a group of energy-saving and environmental protection industrial clusters with relatively complete industrial and product systems, with independent intellectual property rights and innovative technology products, entering the advanced level of domestic industries; the annual output value of the energy-saving industry and environmental protection industry will reach 200 billion yuan.
