Juke Lighting Lists on the New Third Board; LED Industry Welcomes a New Member
Juke Lighting, a Jiangmen High-Tech Zone enterprise originally scheduled to list on the New Third Board on January 24, finally listed on the New Third Board yesterday. Starting yesterday, shares of Guangdong Juke Lighting Co., Ltd. are listed and publicly traded on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (commonly known as the "New Third Board"). This is the second Jiangmen-based enterprise to enter following the expansion of the New Third Board.
On the 24th of last month, Guangdong Matsumoto Green New Materials Co., Ltd., located in Kaiping, listed on the New Third Board, becoming one of the first batch of 263 companies to list after the expansion, as well as the first Jiangmen-based company to list. Juke Lighting, originally scheduled to list in the same batch, unexpectedly encountered a setback shortly before listing when its stock code was recalled, causing the listing to be postponed.
The first transaction was completed on the listing day
Reporters learned from relevant sources that Juke Lighting's postponement of listing may be related to the stock transfer company's raising of the threshold for the first batch of listings. The New Third Board, which aims to be China's NASDAQ, attaches great importance to the first batch of listed companies and has postponed the listing of some companies to expand its influence. As of yesterday, the number of companies listed on the New Third Board reached 642, an increase of 21 from the first batch, with a total share capital of 219 million shares and a total market value of 122.5 billion.
According to regulations, share transfers on the New Third Board can adopt market-making methods, agreement methods, bidding methods, or other transfer methods approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission. At 10:47 AM yesterday, Juke Lighting welcomed its first transaction, with the buyer handled by Dongguan Securities, trading 30,000 shares at a price of 12.88 yuan per share, for a total of 386,400 yuan.
The listing sponsor broker is Everbright Securities
Juke Lighting, which is mainly engaged in the R&D, production and sales of LED packaging and LED lighting fixture products, carried out a shareholding reform shortly after its establishment. The company's predecessor, Jiangmen Low-Carbon Lighting Technology Co., Ltd., was established in January 2010. By May, the founding meeting of Juke Lighting was held, officially renaming and restructuring the company into a joint-stock company, with a registered capital of 25 million yuan.
The data shows that the total number of shares of Juke Lighting is currently 25 million shares, with 6.25 million shares available for transfer. Before the listing transaction, the company's chairman Liang Yaoqiang held 16.25 million shares, with a shareholding ratio of 65%. The company's director and general manager Zhou Jianhua, and the company's director, deputy general manager, and board secretary held 5 million shares and 2.5 million shares respectively. After taking office as chairman of the company in May 2010, Liang Yaoqiang also served as a part-time broker at Everbright Securities, leaving the company in September last year; the listing sponsor broker for Juke Lighting is Everbright Securities.
Multiple core technical personnel once worked at Neo-Neon
Judging from the financial statements, the company's performance has grown rapidly, but the operating scale remains relatively small. In the NEEQ listing document, Juke Lighting also reminded investors that "compared with leading enterprises in the same industry, the company's ability to withstand market fluctuations is relatively weak." Currently, Juke Lighting's main revenue is mainly derived from the South China region. Juke Lighting stated that it is expected that other regions will increase with LED demand in the future, and the company is also considering and planning to establish branch offices or representative offices in regions other than South China and East China to develop the market and gradually complete the nationwide sales layout.
The reporter noticed in the NEEQ listing document that among the 4 core technical personnel disclosed by the company, 3 had previously worked at Neo-Neon, the leading LED enterprise in Jiangmen.
