200,000 LED Lights: Shenyang Night Lighting Creates Festival Atmosphere

　　With the arrival of New Year's Day 2013, the festive atmosphere is growing stronger. The Shenyang Urban Construction Bureau coordinated with Heping District, Shenhe District, Huanggu District, and Dadong District to carry out festival landscape construction work, installing LED string lights, simulated landscape tree lights, and pole decorations on key streets, squares, and green spaces in Shenyang to create a celebratory atmosphere for the New Year and the upcoming Spring Festival.

　　The relevant person in charge of the Shenyang Urban Construction Bureau stated: 'This urban landscape construction is based on strengthening the refined management level of Shenyang's urban appearance, aiming to create a festive, warm, and peaceful city image to welcome the arrival of the New Year and Spring Festival. Adhering to the principles of energy saving and environmental protection, beauty and fashion, diversity and brightness, we will set up a batch of novel and beautiful, dynamic and static combined, day-and-night-oriented festival landscapes on key squares, green spaces, street roadside trees, and streetlight poles in our city. Among them, at 4 squares including Zhongshan Square, more than 30 streets including Qingnian Avenue, and more than 40 green spaces including Wulihe Green Space, a total of more than 200,000 LED string lights (pieces), more than 100 LED simulated landscape tree lights, and more than 1,000 pole decorations will be installed.'

　　This urban landscape construction adheres to the principles of energy saving and environmental protection, beauty and fashion, diversity and brightness, setting up a batch of novel and beautiful, dynamic and static combined, day-and-night-oriented festival landscapes on key squares, green spaces, street roadside trees, and streetlight poles throughout the city.

　　According to the introduction, this nighttime lighting arrangement involves multiple streets. Upon completion, it will form a "three horizontal, two vertical" festive landscape belt throughout the city. In the construction of street tree and green space lighting landscapes, the "color block" landscape expression technique was adopted, with segmented settings—one scene per segment, one color per segment. Combined with near, middle, and distant views, it showcases a festive, lively, and harmonious city image.

　　This festive landscape lighting entirely uses LED fixtures, creating a festive atmosphere and embellishing the city's nighttime scenery while reducing energy consumption—fully embodying the characteristics of energy conservation, emission reduction, low-carbon, and environmental protection. The landscape lighting fixtures can also be reused, avoiding extravagance and waste.
