IRICO enters LED lighting, plans to invest 180 million yuan to build 21 packaging production lines

　　Following BOE Technology Group's entry into the LED lighting business, IRICO, which is engaged in LCD, PDP and OLED display businesses, has also entered the LED lighting business.

　　IRICO initially invested 180 million yuan to establish 21 fully automatic LED packaging production lines, with the main products being surface-mount devices, of which 60% are used for LCD backlights and 20% for lighting products. IRICO stated that it will increase its monthly LED packaging capacity to 150,000 units within the next three years.
