Another LED power supply company has officially announced a price increase.
Recently, the wave of price hikes in the LED driver power supply industry has continued to spread. Following companies such as Mean Well, Igor, Inventronics, Songshan, and Moxa, Dongling Power Supply has also issued a notice adjusting its product prices.
Dongling Power Supply stated that, due to ongoing global supply chain volatility, extended lead times for key components, and a shift in supply chain capacity toward higher-value-added industries, the costs of core power supply parts—including PCBs, magnetic components, and semiconductors—have risen sharply. Since the beginning of the year, the company has coordinated internal and external resources, implementing measures such as supply chain optimization, cost control, and internal efficiency improvements to mitigate the impact of rising costs on product pricing, striving to provide you with the most stable possible supply chain security.
Given that these cost pressures persist, in order to ensure consistent product quality, sustainable supply, technological innovation, and customer service, the company has, after careful evaluation, decided to increase prices across its product lines by 5% to 15%, depending on the specific product category. The new pricing will take effect on September 1, 2026.
To facilitate the transition between old and new orders, Dongling Power Supply is offering a transitional support policy: for orders placed before the effective date, the company will work with your existing orders, project timelines, and projected demand to help assess an appropriate transition‑period support plan.
This round of price increases is not limited to a single company; since August, numerous publicly listed power supply manufacturers have confirmed September as the timing for their price adjustments. The primary drivers include shortages of semiconductor components, rising raw material costs, and increasing logistics and delivery expenses. For lighting fixture manufacturers, engineering firms, and channel distributors, it is advisable to lock in forward orders based on project needs in the short term to hedge against future cost‑increase risks.
