In September 2026, at the venue of the 7th DALI Alliance China Ecosystem Partner Conference and the DALI China Awards Ceremony, the 2nd DALI China Awards concluded successfully.

As a deep‑level implementation of the DALI Lighting Awards in China, this year’s ceremony drew 247 on‑site attendees, bringing together representatives from 53 leading design firms and 57 award‑winning organizations.



This event was not only a celebration of excellence but also embodied the noble mission of “Empowering DALI in China, for China”, establishing a closed-loop ecosystem of “R&D — Application — Co‑creation” and driving the continued advancement of DALI technology within the Chinese market.

Among the many shortlisted projects, the standard factory building project at Jiaxing Danfoss Second Campus—co‑developed by Traxon e:cue—secured the Silver Award in the Industrial Space category, earning high praise from the judges through its robust implementation of DALI smart lighting solutions.

The client is Danfoss Group, while the design firm is China Architecture Design & Research Group Co., Ltd.. The DALI products were supplied by Traxon e:cue.

The standard factory building project at Jiaxing Danfoss Second Campus is located in Haiyan County, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. It represents Danfoss Group’s largest single‑site campus development worldwide and serves as a key strategic initiative to further strengthen its presence in the Chinese market while advancing green manufacturing and industrial upgrading.

Covering approximately 216 mu with a total floor area of about 126,000 square meters, the project embraces the principles of “low carbon, green, environmentally friendly, and healthy,” integrating R&D, testing, production, and exhibition functions into one cohesive complex. Upon completion, it will become Danfoss China’s largest manufacturing base.

The project encompasses roughly 126,000 square meters, including production workshops, storage areas, office spaces, and public zones—each with distinct requirements for illuminance, color temperature, control logic, and operating schedules. This diversity presents significant challenges for lighting system design and management.

Core Challenges    

Production workshops demand stable, continuous illumination and visual comfort, ensuring long‑term efficient operation.

Storage and public areas prioritize energy efficiency and intelligent sensing.

Office spaces balance comfortable lighting with green‑office requirements.

With over 8,000 luminaires in total, traditional control methods fall short of meeting the needs of individual lamp‑level management and subsequent maintenance.

Large‑scale equipment deployment and commissioning must be completed within tight construction timelines, aligning with overall campus development milestones.


The project adopts an intelligent lighting control solution based on the DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) protocol. Compared to conventional approaches, DALI technology offers advantages such as digital addressing, individual lamp control, group management, scene switching, and real‑time status feedback, enabling refined operations and optimized energy consumption.

Beyond the awards, Traxon e:cue also set up an independent booth at the conference, showcasing its technological expertise and product capabilities in smart lighting control.

The booth featured e:cue control system display cases and Sympholink control system demo units, offering hands‑on demonstrations of the complete control chain—from lighting programming and scene integration to centralized management—drawing numerous designers and ecosystem partners to engage in discussions.
