This conference was themed “Pooling Strengths, Building Momentum, and Fostering a New Ecosystem—Embarking on a New Journey of Quality and Innovation,” set against the backdrop of the inaugural year of the 15th Five-Year Plan. It systematically reviewed the achievements of Jiangsu’s lighting industry, delving into key topics such as digital and intelligent transformation, green and low-carbon development, cultural and tourism‑related nighttime experiences, and industrial chain ecosystem building. Over 600 participants—including leaders from government departments, national industry associations, research experts, and corporate representatives—gathered to exchange insights. Through opening remarks, expert keynote speeches, presentations of technological breakthroughs, showcases of new products, and a thank-you gala, the event facilitated discussions on cutting-edge trends in lighting technology, shared practical experiences in industrial upgrading, and jointly mapped out a new blueprint for high-quality development in the lighting sector.

During the event, the Zhejiang Provincial Lighting Electrical Appliances Association engaged in extensive exchanges with its counterparts in Jiangsu, Shanghai, Anhui, and other Yangtze River Delta regions. Participants discussed critical issues such as coordinated development of the Yangtze River Delta lighting industry, cross-regional resource integration, mutual recognition of technical standards, commercialization of industry‑university‑research outcomes, and collaborative overseas expansion by enterprises, reaching multiple agreements. All parties agreed that strengthening inter‑association collaboration and streamlining upstream–downstream resources are essential pathways to overcoming the challenges of existing market competition, cultivating new sources of productivity in the lighting sector, and driving the overall upgrade of the Yangtze River Delta lighting industry.

As a representative of industry experts, Chairman Shen Wei delivered a keynote address at the conference, drawing on the example of the Vivid Sydney Light Festival to conduct an in-depth analysis of how nighttime cultural events can revitalize urban spaces and drive urban renewal, offering valuable insights for the sustainable operation of domestic city‑based night‑tourism projects.

The Zhejiang Provincial Lighting Electrical Appliances Association will take this opportunity to further deepen strategic cooperation with its peers across the Yangtze River Delta, leveraging its role as a bridge to establish cross‑regional platforms for industry exchange and collaboration. This effort aims to help Zhejiang-based lighting companies integrate into the broader framework of Yangtze River Delta integration, jointly advancing the region’s lighting industry toward smarter, greener, and more scenario‑driven development.
