Zhejiang Provincial Lighting Appliance Association Visits and Tours the Hong Kong Autumn Lighting Fair

Braving the winds to set sail, supporting international trade. The 2026 Hong Kong International Outdoor & Tech Lighting Expo and the Hong Kong International Autumn Lighting Fair, under the theme “Beyond Illumination,” will grandly open on October 26–27, 2026, at the AsiaWorld-Expo and the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. As Asia’s leading lighting trade platform, these two exhibitions join forces to bring together nearly 3,000 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions worldwide, attracting professional buyers from over a hundred countries and territories. They will showcase cutting-edge products and system solutions—including smart interconnected lighting, human-centric healthy lighting, outdoor smart streetlights, photovoltaic lighting, and low-carbon green luminaires—while spotlighting industry hotspots such as AI lighting, smart cities, and low-carbon sustainable lighting. For domestic lighting companies, this event serves as an important gateway to connect with international buyers and gain insights into overseas market trends.

Ling Yingming, Honorary Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Lighting Electrical Appliances Association and Secretary of its Party Branch, visited Hong Kong to tour the show, stopping by more than 50 booths of Zhejiang-based member companies. He learned about their latest product R&D and business negotiation progress, and listened to the challenges they face in expanding overseas.

During in-depth discussions with exhibiting companies, Ling Yingming noted that overseas markets are seeing steadily growing demand for green, low-carbon, and intelligently integrated lighting solutions. Zhejiang’s lighting enterprises should leverage their supply chain advantages, stay committed to technological innovation, prioritize international Certification and intellectual property protection, and pursue a differentiated, brand-focused approach to going global. Outdoor smart lighting, photovoltaic lighting, and AI lighting represent key growth areas in overseas markets, and companies can collaborate through the association’s platform to jointly tap into international opportunities.

Exhibiting companies reported that the fair was highly rewarding and that they will continue refining their products based on feedback from overseas markets.
