Bridgelux Launches Ultra-High Color Rendering Index LED Technology

Bridgelux, a leading developer and manufacturer of LED lighting technology and solutions, today announced the Decor series of ultra-high Color Rendering Index (CRI) LED arrays. The Decor series not only combines Bridgelux's industry-leading ES and award-winning RS array technologies, but is also tailored for various application needs including retail, leisure and entertainment, restaurants, museums, and high-end architectural lighting, providing the market's brightest solid-state lighting source.
To enable lighting professionals to present the most complete and vivid colors at various illuminance levels, Bridgelux uses a color rendering rate as high as 97, combined with a 3 Step MacAdams Ellipse (3SDCM) color tone selection, to create the Decor arrays, delivering stunning lighting effects. The new arrays provide 1200 to 2500 lumens of illuminance, and are specially designed to be very close to the light quality of halogen and incandescent lamps. The Bridgelux Decor arrays feature special R9 and R15 color rendering indices as high as 98, highlighting reds and accurately reproducing skin tones, ensuring clean and natural lighting effects. In addition to providing designers with more lighting options, the Decor series further expands Bridgelux's standard product line with a minimum color rendering index of CRI 80 to 90.
