Hess Wins Double Honors at International Design Competition

　　German company Hess has fully rolled out the R&D and production of LED street lights. Not only did it win the Pasadena International Design Competition, but the two LED street lights it designed — Campone and Pasadena — both received the Red Dot Design Award. The Campone and Pasadena LED street lights both received the Red Dot Design Award in the "Lamps and Luminaires" category. The jury praised being impressed by the design quality and creativity of these two new products.

　　Established in 1955, the Red Dot Design Award is one of the most authoritative design awards in the world today. Alongside Germany's "iF" and "M Technology", the United States' "IDEA", and Japan's "Good Design", it is ranked among the five most influential design awards globally. This year, more than 4,000 entries from over 60 countries participated in the competition. All entries undergo the rigorous selection process of global design authorities: including "innovation", "functionality", "ergonomics", "environmental compatibility", "safety", and "brand value" — all of which must reach world-class top standards while also meeting consumers' high-end usage needs in order to receive this international honor.

　　Pasadena's tilted design and functional approach are very unique.

　　Hess promises that its patented LED modules will provide optimal thermal management, integrated optics, and energy-saving performance. Additionally, the modular LEDs are easy to replace, allowing for installation in the latest generation of LED luminaires.

　　Campone street lights are characterized by simplicity and elegance, with an inverted cone-shaped housing that exudes calm and composed elegance.
