Groundbreaking of LED Industrialization Project in Fujian Yongding Industrial Park

Recently, the LED industrialization project jointly invested by Dongguan Kingsun Optoelectronic Co., Ltd. and Dehong (Fujian) Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. held its groundbreaking ceremony at Fujian Yongding Industrial Park.

　　The LED industrialization project of Fujian Dehong Kingsun Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. has a total investment of RMB 300 million, covers an area of 70 mu, with a building area of approximately 46,000 square meters. It is mainly engaged in the R&D, production, sales and technical services of high-power LED packaging, outdoor road lighting products such as street lamps and tunnel lamps, LED garden landscape lighting products, LED civil and commercial lighting products, LED mining and other special lighting products, with an annual output value exceeding RMB 1 billion after completion and reaching production capacity.

　　The project relies on the existing platforms and strengths of Dehong Optoelectronics and Kingsun Optoelectronics, and will also introduce the internationally leading high-CRI LED integrated packaging technology from Sun Yat-sen University, with plans to build it into one of the largest high-power LED packaging and application product production bases in Fujian Province within 5 years. The project land has been secured, and geological survey and construction design work have been completed. It is planned to be completed and put into use in December 2011.
