Price hike notices are everywhere! Once again, several leading LED companies have officially announced price adjustments.
In August 2026, price hike notices have been flooding the LED industry. In addition to previously announced companies such as Signify, Inventronics, Unilumin, and NVC Lighting, Leyard, Aike Shares, and Leiford Power are also set to raise product prices, covering every stage—from chips and packaging to driver power supplies, PCBs, display panels, and finished luminaires.

Leyard
On August 25, Leyard issued a notice of product price adjustments, announcing that, effective September 10, 2026, it will implement moderate price increases across all its product lines.
Leyard stated that due to global supply chain volatility and rising upstream raw material prices, the procurement costs of core components continue to climb. Despite internal efforts—including process optimization, supply chain coordination, and lean management—these measures have only partially offset the impact. Given the ongoing surge in raw material prices, and in order to ensure stable operations and sustainable growth, the company has carefully decided to implement modest price hikes across its entire product range.
Notably, the “Military Procurement Network” recently published information related to Leyard: the company has been suspended from participating in military procurement activities nationwide for goods, projects, and services, due to alleged “bid-rigging and collusion.” The responsible authority is the Procurement Management Department of the Joint Logistics Support Force.

Furthermore, according to the announcement’s note, starting from the date of suspension, the legal representatives of suppliers, natural person controlling shareholders, and other affiliated entities they control or manage will also face restrictions on their eligibility to participate in relevant military procurement activities.
It is reported that this marks the second time this year Leyard has been suspended by the Military Procurement Network. “Bid-rigging and collusion” is one of the key violations subject to strict oversight in the military procurement sector.
Aike Shares
On August 27, Shenzhen Aikelite Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Aike Shares”) released an official notice via its WeChat account titled “Notice on Product Price Adjustments,” announcing that, effective September 1, 2026, it will adjust the prices of its LED landscape lighting fixtures, LED streetlights, and other categories of LED luminaires, with price increases ranging from 10%–30%.
Aike Shares explained that the primary reason for these adjustments is the sustained rise in upstream raw material prices—metals such as aluminum and copper, along with core electronic components, are currently at historic highs, driving up the cost of the company’s LED lighting products.
Leiford Power
Also on August 27, Leiford Power issued a price adjustment notice, stating that recent sharp increases in raw material prices throughout the electronics supply chain have pushed cost pressures beyond the company’s capacity: the prices of basic components like PCB substrates, IC chips, and surface-mount resistors and capacitors have doubled; procurement costs for various semiconductor chips, metal wires, and hardware structural parts continue to soar. Coupled with rising prices for precious metals such as copper, tin, and silver, overall production costs have surged dramatically. At the same time, the company faces risks of material shortages and extended delivery cycles, further intensifying supply pressures.
To ensure consistent product quality and reliable supply, after careful evaluation by the company’s management, a decision was made to adjust prices: effective September 1, 2026, the prices of all LED lighting driver power supplies will be appropriately revised, with an overall increase of 10%–18%.
