Jiangmen City Jianghai District Committee Study Center Group Holds Special Study Session on LED Knowledge
The Study Center Group of the Jianghai District Committee held a study session, focusing on knowledge related to semiconductor lighting (LED). Liang Meixian, Secretary of the Jianghai District Committee, presided over the study session. More than 300 cadres, including members of the four leading groups of Jianghai District, members of the Party and government leading groups of each sub-district, and cadres at or above the section-chief level in units directly under Jianghai District, attended the study.
This study session invited Professor Mei Ting, Director of the Optoelectronic Research Institute of South China Normal University, to deliver a special guidance report on the development trends of the semiconductor lighting (LED) industry and the key directions of Guangdong's development. The study session mainly elaborated on the introduction to LED technology and industry, the current status and trends of global and domestic LED industry development, the focus and path selection of LED industry development in Guangdong Province, and the countermeasures and suggestions for LED industry development in Jiangmen City and Jianghai District.
Liang Meixian pointed out that the green light source industry is an important breakthrough point for Jianghai District to accelerate the transformation of its economic development mode, and a major development opportunity to promote the leap-forward development of Jianghai District and implement the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure. The entire district must recognize the situation, strengthen confidence, seize opportunities, gather strength, further deepen the understanding of LED industry development trends and the key directions of Guangdong's development, transform the knowledge learned into decisions and execution for developing Jianghai District's LED industry, promote the development of the LED industry, and improve industrial competitiveness.
