The 15th Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition Opens Grandly

Led Era Network reporter Zhou Boyi reports from the scene: In June 2010, at the beginning of summer, the annual Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition, which has been held continuously for fifteen years, opened as scheduled at the Guangzhou Pazhou Exhibition Hall at 10:30 a.m. on June 9. This year's Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition is a major industry event for the lighting industry after overcoming the 2008 financial crisis and the 2009 recovery period, and it is also a celebratory event marking the exhibition's 15th year. Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co., Ltd. hosted the grand opening ceremony of this exhibition.

At the opening ceremony, industry professionals from different countries and regions gathered together to witness the event. Guests attending the opening ceremony included: Mr. Lutz Sikorski, Vice Mayor of Frankfurt, Germany, and Director of the Transport Authority; Pan Wenbo, Chairman of the Board of Messe Frankfurt GmbH, and of the Board of Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co., Ltd.; Wang Runsheng, Deputy Director of the China Foreign Trade Center; Chen Yong, Deputy Director of the Guangzhou Economic and Trade Commission; Gao Yaozong, Deputy Director of the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation; Wang Jinsui, Chairman of the China Illuminating Engineering Society; Chen Yansheng, Chairman of the China Association of Lighting Industry; Mr. Heiz Lux, Chairman of the KNX Association; among others. Mr. Lutz Sikorski, Vice Mayor of Frankfurt, Germany, and Director of the Transport Authority, presided over and delivered the opening speech, and performed the eye-dotting ceremony for the lion dance at the opening.

The exhibition area has further expanded this year, reaching 130,000 square meters and covering 13 exhibition halls, with an unprecedented number of more than 2,000 exhibitors. In addition to the continued participation of internationally renowned brands such as Philips, Osram, and Edison Opto, this exhibition has also attracted exhibitors from countries such as Singapore and South Korea, adding brilliance to the event. LED has become the biggest highlight of this exhibition, with brand halls and LED halls accounting for the vast majority. Numerous companies have showcased their latest products, making the entire exhibition a display platform for green lighting.
