On the afternoon of October 21, Luolaidisi hosted a private symposium titled “New Scenarios and Innovations in Nighttime Economic Consumption” in Suzhou, focusing on innovations in nighttime cultural and tourism settings and the application of digital-intelligent lighting technologies. Leaders from lighting associations across China, industry experts, renowned designers, and corporate representatives gathered at the event. Shen Wei, Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Lighting Electrical Appliances Association, attended the event by invitation and delivered a welcoming address.

This private symposium brought together heads of lighting industry associations from multiple provinces and experts in architectural lighting design. Shen Ru, Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Lighting Electrical Appliances Association, and Wang Weidong, Chairman of the Suzhou Lighting Association, each offered remarks. In her address, Chairwoman Shen Wei encouraged industry peers to remain confident in their development, seize opportunities presented by the growth of the nighttime economy, strengthen cross-regional exchanges and mutual learning, deepen collaborative innovation throughout the Industry / Supply chain, and unite as one to drive high-quality development of the lighting Industry.

At the event, corporate representatives shared insights on topics such as investment analysis for nighttime performance tourism, practical case studies of cultural and tourism projects, and digital-intelligent entertainment product Solutions. Drawing on benchmark projects like “Dujiang・Night Dam,” they examined design approaches for nighttime tours and explored how Light / Lighting can convey local cultural heritage. During the product showcase, attendees had the opportunity to closely experience new offerings in digital-intelligent architectural landscapes, digital-intelligent entertainment, and digital-intelligent public‑space lighting, engaging in lively discussions about implementing nighttime cultural and tourism scenarios.

Throughout the event, Chairwoman Shen Wei exchanged views with colleagues from various regions on hot topics such as cultural and tourism night tours and the application of digital-intelligent lighting technologies.
