[CCTV Report] Reduced Luminance: An Entire Night Can Save So Much Electricity!
At the Smart Lighting Command Center in Jinnan District, Tianjin City, the smart control platform achieves remote control and intelligent dimming of street lights, data collection, and line detection. It not only replaces time-consuming and labor-intensive manual inspections but also saves approximately 4.33 million kWh of electricity annually.

Yao Jun, Deputy Director of the Urban Management Committee of Jinnan District, Tianjin City: After the retrofit, our street lights operate at a higher luminance setting before midnight every night; after midnight, we lower them to a lower luminance setting. This saves 11,000 kWh of electricity per night across the entire jurisdiction.

今年5月,津南区内的7900基路灯、11754盏灯具完成智能化提升改造,投入使用。此次改造将原来的高压钠灯,替换成LED节能灯具,并且增加了调光电源,通过4G网络将数据传输至平台。改造后的路灯,亮度显著提升,色温更加柔和舒适。

After the deployment of smart streetlights, if visibility drops suddenly during the day due to weather conditions such as rain or fog, the streetlights in the area will use their built-in sensors to accurately detect the change and automatically turn on immediately to provide illumination.
