To encourage enterprises to grow stronger and larger, enhance industry competitiveness, and promote high-quality development of the industry, the China Light Industry Council has conducted the China Light Industry Enterprise Evaluation work for many consecutive years. On July 9, the China National Light Industry Council held the 'Focusing on New Power, Leading New Consumption' Light Industry Top 100 Enterprises New Quality Development Industry Conference in Beijing, where it released the list of the 2024 Top 100 Light Industry Enterprises and the Top 10 Strong Enterprises in the Light Industry Sector.
The 2024 'Top 200 Chinese Light Industry Enterprises' list covers 39 light industry sectors, with 9 lighting enterprises selected. Compared to previous evaluation results, the ranking of lighting enterprises on the Top 200 list has remained relatively stable, but compared to other industries, the revenue and profit growth rates of the lighting industry have both declined compared to the previous year.
To implement the national innovation-driven strategy and promote high-level self-reliance in light industry technology, the China Light Industry Council also carried out the 2024 Top 100 Light Industry Technology Enterprises Evaluation work concurrently. The evaluation results for the Top 100 Technology Enterprises cover 23 light industry sectors, with 9 lighting enterprises selected, ranking fourth after home appliances, plastics, and bio-fermentation, and performing better than other light industry sectors. The average R&D intensity of lighting enterprises on the Top 100 Technology list reached 4.45%. Also announced simultaneously are the top ten enterprises in the lighting and electrical industry for 2024. The list is as follows: The evaluation work for the Top 200 Enterprises of China's Light Industry, the Top 100 High-Tech Enterprises of China's Light Industry, and the Top 10 Enterprises of China's Light Industry adheres to the principles of rigor, fairness, and science. Based on voluntary enterprise applications and industry research, it conducts comprehensive evaluations using quantitative indicators such as enterprise revenue, total profit, and R&D investment, combined with achievements in scientific and technological innovation, intellectual property, patent count, standardization work, and other factors.
