Editor's Note

From the perspective of recall reasons, issues such as aging and loosening of luminaire connection components, damaged wires, detached plastic clips, overheating and melting of power switches, battery overheating, and accessible hazardous batteries for children not only reflect insufficient quality control of core components during production, but also highlight the lack of quality control over luminaire-related accessories and the lag in researching and responding to foreign safety regulations. These safety hazards may lead to serious consequences such as impact injuries, electric shock, fire, chemical burns, and even death, seriously threatening the safety of consumers' lives and property, while also damaging the international reputation of "Made in China".

To improve the quality of lighting products made in China and ensure compliance with local product safety regulations in various countries, it is recommended to strengthen multiple aspects such as enhancing raw material and accessory management, improving quality monitoring during the production process, strengthening research on product safety regulations in overseas countries, and establishing a sound recall warning mechanism, extending quality control from the production end to the entire chain of design, supply chain, and after-sales service, so as to achieve the leap from "manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing" in global competition.
