2025 Shanghai International Hotel & Commercial Space, Office & Public Space Expo focuses on the topic of light and space design

On March 31, the 2025 Shanghai International Hotel & Commercial Space, Office & Public Space Expo, jointly organized by the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), China Hotel Association, China General Merchandise Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai Bowin International Exhibition Co., Ltd. and other organizations, grandly opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Center - Pudong. Wang Zhuo, Secretary-General of CALI, attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon.

This exhibition is an important part of the 2025 Shanghai Tourism Industry Expo, guided by the Shanghai Municipal Culture and Tourism Administration, focusing on commercial, hotel, office spaces, cultural tourism landscapes, intelligent and green building products and overall solutions, gathering numerous lighting decorative lighting and smart system brands, serving as an important trade platform for the lighting industry to face application scenarios and enter niche fields. Hongyan Electric, Sanxiong Aurora, Jinhan Decorative Lighting and other lighting enterprises focused on niche fields brought their latest decorative lighting products and smart solutions to the exhibition. During the exhibition, four forum activities related to lighting were also held. Industry experts, designers and enterprise representatives discussed the cutting-edge concepts and future trends of lighting design in commercial, hotel and office scenarios from the perspectives of scenario-based, human-centric and sustainable light environments.

Four lighting forums discuss industry development trends

During the exhibition, a series of industry events and thematic forums were held, including the "China-International Lighting Designers High-Level Forum", "Commercial & Hotel Lighting Design Forum", "Smart & Emotional: New Forces in Hotel Commercial Lighting Design Forum", and "Light News & Vision: Future Trends in Beautiful Commercial Space Lighting". The forum activities focused on the core theme of "Reshaping Spatial Experience with Light", comprehensively analyzing cutting-edge concepts and future trends in lighting design for commercial, hotel, and office scenarios, centered on scenario-based, human-centric, and sustainable light environments.

On the technical level, new light source technologies such as LED innovation and energy-saving solutions, as well as IoT lighting and intelligent control systems, have become powerful drivers of industry progress; in terms of craft aesthetics and commercial application areas, not only was the aesthetic value of light as an artistic medium deeply explored, but through scenario-based design, commercial and hotel spaces were empowered to significantly enhance user experience; additionally, the forum also discussed the relationship between dynamic lighting and customized guest room scenarios, promoting the cross-disciplinary integration of lighting design with multiple fields through case sharing by space designers and artists.
