The 32nd Guzhen Lighting Fair Grandly Opens

On March 18, 2025, the 32nd Guzhen International Decorative Lighting Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Guzhen Lighting Expo") grandly opened at the Lighting Capital Guzhen Conference and Exhibition Center in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, organized by the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) and hosted by Zhongshan Guzhen Light Capital Expo Co., Ltd.

At the opening ceremony, He Ye, Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of Light Industry and Chairman of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), stated in her speech that Guzhen Town is the "Capital of Decorative Lighting of China," jointly cultivated and built by the China Council for the Promotion of Light Industry, CALI, and the local government. The Guzhen Lighting Fair, positioned on professionalism, marketization, and internationalization, has consistently built an exhibition and trade platform around the latest technologies, key products, and leading brands of industrial development. The number of exhibiting enterprises, as well as the scale and area of the fair, have continued to expand, with a significant increase in domestic and foreign buyers. It has become an important exhibition showcasing the latest achievements in the lighting industry and promoting consumption transformation and upgrading. She pointed out that this year's fair focuses on key directions for improving quality and efficiency in the industrial sector, such as "Smart lighting, low-carbon environmental protection, cross-border integration, and specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative (SRDI) enterprises," displaying the latest technologies and conducting in-depth exchanges to stimulate innovation vitality in the lighting industry. She emphasized that CALI will actively implement the Party and State's decisions and deployments to "vigorously boost consumption and develop new quality productive forces," prepare for the "15th Five-Year Plan," lead and serve the industry in accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system, and accelerate the development of new quality productive forces. At the same time, it will continue to support the development of the Guzhen lighting industry, enhancing new momentum for its growth from multiple dimensions including technological innovation, standard leadership, talent cultivation, market expansion, and brand promotion, thereby assisting the transformation and upgrading of Guzhen's lighting industry.

Zhou Zude, Vice Mayor of the Zhongshan Municipal People's Government, stated in his speech that Zhongshan is currently deeply studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions. In accordance with the Provincial Party Committee's "1310" specific deployment, it is vigorously promoting the construction of the Pearl River Estuary East-West Integration Reform and Innovation Experimental Zone, seizing the major opportunity of the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link to build ten modern industrial clusters as a "fleet," expanding and upgrading cross-border e-commerce, and driving cluster-based "chain-style" global expansion. We sincerely invite lighting and decorative lighting enterprises and dealers to jointly develop strategies, work together to promote the deep integration of the lighting and decorative lighting industry with artificial intelligence technology, and polish the golden brand of "Guzhen Decorative Lighting" to new heights.

Xue Zhiguo, Party Secretary of the Guzhen Town Committee, stated in his speech that Guzhen Town has always adhered to high-quality exhibition organization, continuously amplified the "multiplier effect," and fully built an international trade platform for two-way empowerment of "bringing in" and "going out." This May will see the first-time hosting of the Summer Lighting Fair, upgrading from two exhibitions per year to three, continuously expanding the influence and appeal of the Guzhen Lighting Fair.

A total of 22 key projects with an investment exceeding 3 billion yuan were signed at the opening ceremony. The signing of a batch of AI industry empowerment projects and low-altitude economy intelligent manufacturing projects marks that Guzhen Town is planning and layout emerging industries and future industries, promoting the deep integration of artificial intelligence and the real economy, and helping the lighting and decorative lighting industry shift from "cost competition" to "intelligent value addition".

The opening ceremony also featured the launch of the 2025 China International Lighting/Luminaire Design Competition.
