过去当观众走进影院，都会看到一束光从放映间投射到银幕上，但是LED的出现，让数字电影的放映从原来的投影变成了主动发光，不仅屏幕亮度更高，而且均匀性更好，无论观众坐在影厅的任何角落，画面带来的冲击和感受都是一致的。

中国电影科学技术研究所所长龚波：相比传统的DLP投影放映，LED具有高亮度、高对比度、高均匀度、高动态范围的优势，将给传统的电影放映带来革命性的变革。这应该是电影从无声到有声、从黑白到彩色、从模拟到数字之后又一个革命性变革。

LED Leads Technological Transformation in the Film Industry

China's International Standard for 'Optical Technical Requirements and Measurement Methods for Digital Cinema LED Halls' Successfully Established

LED正在引领电影行业的技术变革。在相关国际标准的制定上，我国也取得了突破。此前，由中国提案的电影国际标准项目《数字电影LED影厅光学技术要求和测量方法》已经获得国际标准化组织批准，正式立项，计划在三年内发布，将规范、引领LED影厅提高放映质量，推动全球LED数字电影放映规模化推广应用。

Liu Maoying, Head of the Standards Research Department at the China Film Science and Technology Research Institute: The entire preparation cycle lasted nearly two years. The most difficult part during the preparation process was obtaining support from various countries. Through our efforts, we ultimately gained support for this proposal from eight countries, and five countries committed to sending experts to participate in our project.

Liu Maoying revealed that among the current 24 digital cinema standards, except for one led by China, the remaining 23 were all rapidly converted from standards by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). This also means that international standards in the film field are basically dominated and formulated by Hollywood in the United States. The successful initiation of this project also reflects the growing influence of Chinese cinema in the field of international standards.

Bian Wei, Executive Director of China Film Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd.: In 2024, the number of LED auditoriums reached 105, generating over 96 million in box office revenue. The growth rates for both box office share and quantity share exceeded 55%, indicating that LED's novel display and direct display technologies are a major trend in future market development.
