General Office: Support night lighting and scenic light upgrades in commercial districts with concentrated consumption across regions

To implement the deployment requirements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on expanding service consumption and promoting the development of the cultural and tourism industry, the General Office of the State Council recently issued "Several Measures for Further Cultivating New Growth Points to Prosper Cultural and Tourism Consumption" (hereinafter referred to as "the Measures"). The "Measures" propose 18 specific measures in 6 aspects, aiming to leverage cultural empowerment and tourism's driving role, deepen the integration of 'culture and tourism + all industries' and 'all industries + culture and tourism', enhance product supply capacity, enrich consumption formats and scenarios, better meet the diverse, multi-level, and multi-faceted spiritual and cultural needs of the people, enhance their sense of cultural gain and happiness, and strive to cultivate the cultural and tourism industry into a pillar industry. In the section on "cultivating consumption scenarios", the 2 specific measures proposed by the "Measures" have released positive signals for stable market growth in the lighting industry in 2025.

The "Measures" propose "developing night-time cultural and tourism economy." Support the enrichment of cultural and tourism formats in night-time cultural and tourism consumption clusters, holding folk performances, lantern fairs and temple fairs, light and shadow shows and other activities ; support local upgrades to night lighting and nightscape lighting in commercial consumption clusters , optimizing supporting service facilities such as parking lots and public transport. This will further promote market demand in segmented fields such as landscape lighting, road lighting, and cultural tourism lighting.
The "Measures" propose "creating new consumption scenarios". Support local creation of ultra-high-definition, immersive, interactive performance new spaces and digital exhibition new spaces. Creating new performance spaces and digital exhibition spaces cannot be separated from the composite cooperation of lighting, display, audio and other equipment; with the deepening of this measure, smart luminaires and intelligent lighting systems will welcome new business opportunities.
