The 31st China Guzhen International Decorative Lighting Expo Grandly Opens
On October 22, 2024, the 5-day 31st China Guzhen International Decorative Lighting Expo (hereinafter referred to as 'Guzhen Lighting Expo') grandly opened at the Light Capital Guzhen Conference and Exhibition Center in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province.
This edition of the Lighting Expo is hosted by the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) and organized by Zhongshan Guzhen Light Capital Expo Co., Ltd., focusing on the theme 'Guzhen Decorative Lighting Illuminates the World'. Positioned as professional, market-oriented, and international, it aims to build an integrated exhibition and trade platform for the entire industry chain, featuring collaboration between exhibitions and stores, integration of exhibitions and networks, and a unified online-offline experience.
The main venue is located at the Light Capital Guzhen Conference and Exhibition Center, with 8 co-venues including Lihe Light Expo Center, Huayi Plaza, Star Alliance, Light Capital Times Square, Guyi Ruifeng International Lighting Supply City, Guyi Qingfeng LED Commercial Plaza, Guzhen Chang'an Lighting Supply & Electronics City, and Cao San International Lighting Supply City, covering a total exhibition area of over 1.5 million square meters.

At 10:00 AM, the opening ceremony of the 31st Lighting Fair was held in the presence of leaders and guests from all levels, representatives of leading industry enterprises, industry experts, designers, high-quality foreign buyers, representatives of major domestic lighting markets, domestic chambers of commerce and associations, and media friends. He Ye, Vice President of the China Light Industry Council and Chairman of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), attended and delivered a speech. At the opening ceremony, He Ye, Vice President of the China National Light Industry Council and Chairman of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), delivered a speech. She stated that 2024 is a critical year for comprehensively implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, a decisive year for implementing the "14th Five-Year Plan," and a year for the industry to accelerate the construction of a new development ecosystem and actively cultivate new quality productive forces. Currently, the lighting industry is actively implementing the new development philosophy and fully promoting high-quality development.
Guzhen Town is the "Capital of Decorative Lighting of China", jointly named by the China National Light Industry Council and the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI). It is the most influential manufacturing and trading center for decorative lighting in the industry. In the new era, Guzhen's decorative lighting should accurately grasp its strategic positioning for new industrialization, leverage its unique geographical advantages and solid industrial foundation, focus on technological innovation, stabilize traditional markets, expand emerging markets, cultivate key niche sectors, accelerate the digital, networked, and intelligent transformation of the supply chain, and launch "Guzhen Decorative Lighting" with greater competitive advantage and higher standards, continuously meeting users' needs for a beautiful "light" environment and providing strong support for new quality development in the industry.

On the first day of the event, the on-site registration office and the entrance of the exhibition hall were bustling with people. A large number of exhibitors and buyers from all over the world visited spontaneously or in groups, creating a very lively atmosphere
This edition of the Guzhen Lighting Fair features a main exhibition hall with a total area exceeding 58,000 square meters, an increase of 3,400 square meters compared to the previous edition. A new comprehensive pavilion H has been added on the west side of Hall A, focusing on showcasing brands of lighting and decorative lighting enterprises that are specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative.
It is worth noting that the "Shenzhen-Zhongshan Brand Zone" in Hall A has been further upgraded. Compared to the Autumn 2023 Lighting Fair, more than 60% of exhibitors returned, and the ratio of exhibiting companies increased by 26.67%, comprehensively showcasing cutting-edge achievements in "product intelligence," "industry digitization," and "trade innovation" between Shenzhen and Zhongshan.

During the exhibition period, the third Light Capital Cultural Carnival will be held simultaneously at the People's Square of Guzhen Town, featuring various characteristic activities over four consecutive days. In addition, multiple A-level scenic spots and large commercial complexes within the town will be integrated and linked to promote consumption activities, expanding consumer experiences through diverse scenarios and activating new potential for cultural and tourism consumption.
