Classroom lighting procurement exceeded 200 million yuan in the first half of the year

Which classroom lighting procurement projects are worth paying attention to in the first half of the year? According to Zhengfuyi Bidding Big Data, there were 74 classroom lighting procurement projects nationwide in the first half of 2024, with a procurement scale of approximately 236 million yuan, accounting for 7.86% of the total lighting procurement scale.

The largest classroom lighting bid in the first half was the Yuyang District Primary and Secondary Schools and Kindergartens Student Vision Control and Protection Eye-care Lamp Procurement Project by the Education and Sports Bureau of Yuyang District, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, procuring 19,752 LED classroom lights, 5,253 LED blackboard lights, auxiliary materials, and installation, won by Shaanxi Kaixin Shiye Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. with 24.4564 million yuan . Wang Xiaorong, the project manager at Shaanxi Zhongcai Bidding Agency Co., Ltd., introduced: "This project involves the installation of eye-care lamps in 151 urban and township primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in Yuyang District. Therefore, the purchaser places great emphasis on the implementation plan and after-sales service plan provided by the supplier."

Kang Jiuru, a government procurement review expert in Henan Province, introduced that when suppliers bid (respond), the products or services they provide must first meet the substantive requirements of the bidding documents, and quality must be guaranteed. For example, LED classroom lights generally require an average illuminance ≥300LUX; otherwise, the bid will be considered invalid.

From the perspective of different administrative regions, in the first half of the year, Hainan Province, Shandong Province, and Shaanxi Province ranked top three in classroom lighting procurement scale, with amounts of RMB 43 million, RMB 33 million, and RMB 29 million respectively.

The largest classroom lighting bid in Hainan Province was for the ordinary classroom lighting renovation project of public primary schools under the Qionghai Education Bureau, won by Hainan Hezesheng Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. with a bid of RMB 8.3366 million. The largest classroom lighting bid in Shandong Province was for the Guangming Eye Protection Procurement Project for primary and secondary schools under the Feicheng Education and Sports Bureau, won by Anhui Yi Film and Television Technology Co., Ltd. with a bid of RMB 5.9747 million.
