2024 China (Shenzhen) Lighting Industry Chain Technology Innovation Exhibition (2024 CLITI Exhibition) New Plan Upgrade and Date Confirmation

The "China (Shenzhen) Lighting Industry Chain Technology Innovation Exhibition" (CLITI Exhibition) is organized by the China Association of Lighting Industry to promote technological innovation across the entire lighting supply chain and support high-quality industry development. Since the successful holding of the first exhibition in May 2023, it has received extensive attention from within and outside the industry, and many valuable opinions and suggestions have been put forward on how to further leverage the association's advantages and serve industry development through exhibition activities.

In light of current market trend changes and the need to deepen specialization in niche fields to promote specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative development, after fully listening to opinions from all parties and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, we have carefully decided to postpone the "2024 China (Shenzhen) Lighting Industry Chain Technology Innovation Exhibition (2024 CLITI Exhibition)" and its concurrent activities, originally scheduled for September 23-25, 2024, to December 12-14, to be held concurrently with the "2024 Shenzhen International Hotel & Commercial Space Expo (2024 HOTEL & SHOP PLUS SHEN ZHEN)". The venue remains the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an).

This adjustment will enhance the professional organization and service capabilities of the exhibition through measures such as "New Theme", "New Dates", "New Partners", and "New Pricing", and will also promote efficient linkage and deep integration between the lighting industry and the lighting needs of hotels and similar commercial venues, bringing new cross-industry experiences and development opportunities for exhibitors and visitors.

1. New Theme – Focusing on Lighting Technology for Hotels and Similar Commercial Spaces

Currently, multiple government departments are actively releasing domestic market demand and accelerating the construction of the domestic trade market through various means. Since 2023, the state has intensively issued several favorable policies, such as "Several Measures on Releasing the Potential of Tourism Consumption to Promote High-Quality Development of the Tourism Industry," "Domestic Tourism Improvement Plan (2023–2025)," and "Several Measures on Strengthening Support for Large-Scale Equipment Updates and Consumer Goods Trade-Ins," sending positive signals for the redevelopment of the hotel industry and similar commercial venues. According to incomplete statistics, by the end of 2023, the total number of accommodation facilities in mainland China reached 610,000, a 42% increase from the previous year. In the first quarter of this year, the number of accommodation facility orders in national-level tourist resorts across the country increased by 44.5% Year-on-year (YoY), and the booking revenue of accommodation facilities increased by 45.7% Year-on-year (YoY), continuing to maintain a high growth level. With the recovery of the cultural and tourism market, lighting environment upgrade projects for hotels and similar commercial venues are also accelerating, becoming another rapidly rising niche market. Among them, characteristics such as chain development, branding, and high-end positioning are releasing new demands for more intelligent, healthy, green, and personalized lighting environments in hotels and similar commercial venues.

To help enterprises seize the golden period of a new round of development for hotels and similar commercial spaces, the Exhibition will focus more on lighting technology related to hotels and similar commercial spaces. By holding concurrently with 2024 HOTEL & SHOP PLUS SHEN ZHEN, it will showcase innovative achievements in lighting products and related Solution in this field, enhance cross-industry communication and cooperation, promote integrated development among industries, and actively guide the industry to accelerate its expansion into niche markets.

During the Exhibition, the organizer will also organize lighting Forum activities related to hotels and commercial spaces. By presenting the latest hotel lighting technologies and comprehensive Solution, it will guide the industry to increase scientific and technological innovation efforts in this field, empower enterprises to accelerate cross-border integrated development, and explore niche markets.

2. New Dates – December 12-14, 2024

Held concurrently with the 2024 Shenzhen International Hotel & Commercial Space Expo, the event will be postponed by nearly two months compared to the original schedule. The new dates will provide exhibitors with more ample time for exhibition planning and other preparations. Meanwhile, the organizers will further intensify publicity and organizational efforts, fully integrate resources, leverage multi-party advantages, and diligently handle preparatory work such as exhibitor organization, visitor invitations, brand promotion, and event planning, striving to create a high-quality professional盛会.

3. New Partner – Joining Hands with Shanghai Bofa International Exhibition Co., Ltd.

The adjusted expo will be co-organized by the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) and Shanghai Bofa International Exhibition Co., Ltd. On one hand, the participation of a professional exhibition company helps enhance the professional level of exhibition services; on the other hand, the concurrently held "2024 Shenzhen International Hotel & Commercial Space Expo" will increase its exhibition area to 300,000 m², covering 16 halls, with over 3,000 exhibitors, expected to attract more than 200,000 visitors, and host over 80 events and competitions, further boosting the attention and influence of the Lighting Industry Chain Technology Innovation Expo. Established in 1998, Shanghai Bofa International Exhibition Co., Ltd. is one of the earliest foreign-invested exhibition enterprises in China, invested by Informa PLC. The company operates an integrated online and offline model, holding over 70 exhibitions annually, with a total rented hall area reaching 1.8 million square meters, creating multiple trade opportunities for over 1.2 million procurement professionals from around the world, and possessing rich experience in exhibition organization. Meanwhile, Shanghai Bofa International Exhibition Co., Ltd. has maintained a long-term good cooperative relationship with CALI. 4. New Pricing – More Affordable

The addition of a professional exhibition organizer not only improves exhibition organization efficiency but also further reduces organizational costs in various aspects. We will offer lower prices to reward more exhibitors, providing them with more cost-effective participation opportunities, and create a more professional and high-level lighting industry expo.
