China's first high-flow UV-C LED disinfection equipment successfully developed and applied

Recently, collaborated with Youweixin Technology, a company in the Quanzhou Digital Economy Industrial Park, to successfully develop and implement China's first UV-C LED system dedicated to secondary water supply pump rooms , breaking the application of traditional mercury lamp sterilization in the secondary water supply field.
UV-C LED is a new type of light source, offering multiple advantages over traditional mercury lamps in terms of environmental protection, efficiency, precision, energy saving, and safety, driving technological innovation in the traditional water treatment industry. The equipment has not only passed testing and certification by third-party professional institutions, but its sterilization effect has reached a sterile level, far exceeding national standard requirements; taking E. coli as an indicator, the sterilization rate increased from 99.99% to 99.999%. Next, the Water Group and Youweixin will jointly establish a special research team with domestic universities and industry experts to further deepen applied research and lead the rapid substitution and development of this product in the industry. It is understood that Youweixin Technology is a national-level specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative "Little Giant" enterprise introduced through joint investment promotion by the Quanzhou Municipal Government, Fengze District Government and Quanzhou Water Group at the end of 2023. It is the only high-tech company in China engaged in full-band, full Industry / Supply chain UV semiconductor chips, specializing in the R&D, production and sales of third-generation semiconductor chips, devices, Packaging, modules and light source systems; it holds more than 300 core Patents. In addition to serving leading domestic enterprise customers, its chips and related products have broken international monopolies and are exported to Europe, America, Japan, South Korea and other countries. The project is located in the Quanzhou Digital Economy Industrial Park and will build the nation's first UV-C LED deep ultraviolet disinfection water treatment equipment production base and "Belt and Road" sales headquarters. The successful R&D and application of UV-C LED ultraviolet sterilizers by Quanzhou Water Group and Youweixin has not only improved the technical level in this field domestically, but also provided reference experience for technological innovation and Industry development in other regions. It is believed that with further maturity of technology and continuous market expansion, UV-C LED technology is expected to be applied in more fields such as municipal water affairs and Industry, effectively boosting the development of new quality productive forces, serving the transformation and upgrading of Quanzhou's traditional Industries, and bringing more Environmental protection and health benefits to society.
