Higher education leads in school lighting procurement in June; multiple million-level projects implemented

Educational lighting equipment and systems are common items in school logistics procurement. Data collected nationwide by the Educational Equipment Procurement Network shows that in June 2024, 16 school lighting procurement projects were implemented, representing only 44% of the previous month's volume. Five million-level procurement projects were implemented, with higher education leading in procurement share. Statistics indicate a significant reduction in school lighting procurement demand in June.
Regarding project implementation across educational sectors, in June 2024, the higher education sector had 8 projects implemented, accounting for 50% of the total, with 2 million-level procurement projects implemented; the basic education sector had 7 projects implemented, accounting for 44% of the total, with 2 million-level procurement projects implemented; the vocational education sector had 1 million-level procurement project implemented. From the perspective of procurement content of implemented projects, school lighting procurement in June 2024 included classroom light environment renovation, laboratory and training room lighting, and campus sports venue lighting equipment. The scale of million-level procurement projects that month was mostly concentrated within 5 million yuan. Projects with larger investments included the "Procurement of Professional Lighting Systems for Venues at Guangzhou University City Sports Center," with a winning bid amount of 2.18 million yuan, and the "Myopia Prevention and Control Classroom Lighting Equipment for Primary and Secondary Schools in Jian'ou City" project, with a winning bid amount of 1.18 million yuan. Based on the implementation of regional projects, school lighting procurement projects were implemented in 11 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in June 2024. Compared to the previous month, the scope of demand has decreased, with Hainan Province leading in the number of projects implemented.
