The China Electronics Energy Conservation Technology Association held a press conference in Beijing on the afternoon of July 4, stating that the "Organic Semiconductor OLED Healthy Lighting Device" project, independently developed by Chinese sci-tech innovation enterprises, passed the scientific and technological achievement evaluation organized by the association on the same day. The evaluation committee composed of industry experts believed that the "Organic Semiconductor OLED Healthy Lighting Device" has advantages of high efficiency, high performance, long life, and low cost, and can provide consumers with healthier and more environmentally friendly lighting solutions, with broad application prospects.

The "Organic Semiconductor OLED Healthy Lighting Device" was jointly developed by Jiangsu Yiguang Technology Co., Ltd. and Kangfutang Pharmaceutical Technology Development Co., Ltd.. The R&D team introduced that the project has obtained 20 authorized invention patents. Compared with traditional lighting technology, OLED lighting products can achieve more uniform lighting effects, reducing the generation of light spots and shadows, thereby significantly alleviating eye strain from prolonged use and protecting visual health. At the same time, OLED luminaires have low blue light characteristics, effectively reducing the negative impact of blue light on vision and sleep, making them particularly suitable for home and office environments. In terms of environmental protection, OLED lighting can significantly reduce energy consumption.

In addition, OLED lighting also offers high design flexibility. Since OLED panels can be made extremely thin, designers can incorporate them into various creative luminaires to achieve diversified lighting design. Moreover, the production process of OLED luminaires is more environmentally friendly, using no harmful substances, which makes recycling and disposal more convenient.

After more than one year of testing and research with Beijing Tongren Hospital, Capital Medical University, the OLED lighting products developed by the "Organic Semiconductor OLED Healthy Lighting Devices" project can significantly reduce intraocular pressure caused by prolonged eye use and improve visual comfort.

Ophthalmologists point out that prolonged exposure to high-blue-light environments increases eye fatigue and intraocular pressure, which may lead to a series of eye health problems over time. OLED luminaires, with their low blue light, soft and uniform light characteristics, have become an ideal choice for protecting eye health.

Experts from the scientific and technological achievement evaluation committee stated that with the continuous maturity of technology and gradual market promotion, OLED lighting will play a more important role in future home and applications, bringing more light and health to people's lives.

At the product appraisal meeting held that day, Jiangsu Yiguang Technology Co., Ltd. showcased several innovative OLED lighting products, including myopia prevention desk lamps suitable for teenagers and beauty lamps for home use. Their products adopted innovative technology with a triple-stack OLED device structure, which is leading globally. Compared to the dual-stack OLED technology used in the latest iPad Pro, the triple-stack technology offers higher luminance and efficiency, longer service life, and superior color rendering performance, while providing more uniform and comfortable light.
