The first promotional and interpretation meeting for the "Technical Specifications for Cultural Tourism Landscape Lighting" was held at Slender West Lake in Yangzhou.

On May 31, the summary of the compilation and the first promotional and interpretation meeting for China's first cultural tourism lighting standard, the "Technical Specifications for Cultural Tourism Landscape Lighting" (DB32/T 4755-2024), jointly compiled over two years by 13 units including the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Development Research Center, Jiangsu Illuminating Engineering Society, and Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Association, was held at Slender West Lake in Yangzhou. Director Gao Hong from the Energy Saving Management Division of the National Energy Conservation Center was invited to attend and speak. Standard compilers, heads of drafting units, and relevant responsible persons from the Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Development Research Center, Jiangsu Illuminating Engineering Society, Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Association, Jiangsu Cultural Investment Group, Yangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, Yangzhou Garden Scenic Area Development Center, Yangzhou Municipal Lighting Management Office, Yangzhou Municipal Tourism Association, as well as heads of Yangzhou Garden Co., Ltd., and lighting engineering, product, and planning design units in Yangzhou urban area and Gaoyou City, totaling more than 40 representatives, attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Chief Engineer Zhu Zhenfeng from the Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Development Research Center, and Zhang Aidong, General Manager of Baode Lighting Group Co., Ltd. and Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Illuminating Engineering Society, delivered the opening remarks.


The conference held the launch ceremony for the standalone edition of the "Technical Specification for Cultural Tourism Landscape Lighting".


Qian Zongming, Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Lighting Society and President of the Night Tourism Economy and Digital Technology Branch of the Jiangsu Tourism Society, provided a detailed interpretation of the key requirements of the "Technical Specification for Cultural Tourism Landscape Lighting" (DB32/T 4755—2024).


The conference invited Shenzhen Appotronics and Yangzhou Slender West Lake Scenic Area to present reports on thematic lighting applications in night tourism projects.


During the exchange session, attendees engaged in lively discussions on the release and implementation of the "Technical Specification for Cultural Tourism Landscape Lighting," as well as the development prospects and response strategies for cultural tourism landscape lighting. They agreed that the release and implementation of this specification is a significant event for both the cultural tourism and lighting industries, arriving at an opportune time. Currently, regions across China are comprehensively organizing studies to implement the important instructions of the General Secretary on cultural tourism and the spirit of the Central Tourism Work Conference. China's cultural tourism sector is entering a fast track of high-quality development. Cultural tourism landscape lighting faces unprecedented development opportunities and must seize the moment to advance scientifically in accordance with standards and specifications.


In the evening, attendees visited and inspected the large-scale immersive night tourism project "Er Fen Ming Yue Yi Yang Zhou" at Slender West Lake.
