With the improvement of people's living standards and the increase in leisure tourism demand, cultural tourism projects have become the focus of competition in various regions.Recently, seven "billion-level" cultural tourism projects were officially signed and commenced, among which two cultural tourism projects exceeded "10 billion". Wuxi Huishan Guzhen Project


Recently, the "Drawing on Heritage to Envision the Future" Guzhen investment promotion exchange meeting was held at Jichang Garden within the Guzhen scenic area, focusing on the comprehensive cultural and tourism development project of Huishan Guzhen.

It is reported that the comprehensive cultural and tourism development project of Huishan Guzhen has a total investment of approximately RMB 14 billion, covering an area of about 554 mu. The upgraded Huishan Guzhen will include business districts, themed accommodations, immersive experience spaces, high-quality communities, and public facilities, becoming a landmark urban living room for Wuxi.

In the future, the scenic area will be divided into four major sections: Guochao art, national music trends, intangible cultural heritage, and historical blocks, fully leveraging the agglomeration effect of the cultural and tourism Industry. Relying on historical resources, Guzhen will take "Moon Reflected in the Second Spring" as its cultural IP, with the mission of preserving, innovating, and developing Chinese national music, using Guochao art lifestyle as the scenario to create an urban leisure and vacation destination integrating culture, business, and tourism. In addition to updating the architectural appearance, it will achieve a comprehensive upgrade of culture, business, and tourism.

Xi'an Taikoo Li Project


On the morning of November 14, the groundbreaking ceremony for Xi'an Taikoo Li was held in the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Historical and Cultural Area.

The Xi'an Taikoo Li project is the fourth Taikoo Li in China, following Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu, and currently features the largest planned commercial area among all Taikoo Li developments. With a total land area of approximately 119,000 square meters and a total gross floor area of 256,000 square meters, it includes retail malls, cultural facilities, and luxury hotels, with a total investment of approximately RMB 10 billion.

Located in the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Historical and Cultural Area, the Xi'an Taikoo Li project has consistently prioritized cultural heritage conservation since the launch of the area's comprehensive renovation, promoting the perfect integration of traditional culture with modern civilization and ensuring that heritage protection complements rational utilization.

According to current project renderings, Xi'an Taikoo Li will adopt a low-density, open-plan innovative architectural design inspired by the traditional architectural style of the High Tang period. Leveraging the varying building heights in the northern and southern zones, covered walkways will visually frame the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Jianfu Temple together with the project. Furthermore, as the site lies within "Anren Fang," one of the 108 wards of Tang Chang'an City, several major historical streets uncovered through archaeological excavations, including the Seventh Horizontal Street, Eighth Horizontal Street, and Yizi Horizontal Street, have been incorporated into the overall design plan to better preserve and showcase the area's historical layout and cultural relics.

Xi'an Taikoo Li is expected to be completed in phases starting from 2026. The construction of this project will further provide momentum for Xi'an to improve infrastructure, enhance urban functions, and adjust its industrial structure. Meanwhile, it will help Xi'an accelerate its establishment as an international consumption center city, build a world-class humanistic capital showcasing Chinese civilization, and develop into a national central city.

Sanzhualun Nianlun Hot Spring Resort Project


On November 15, the groundbreaking ceremony for the creation of a 5A scenic area in Sanzhualun Tourism Zone and the Nianlun Hot Spring Resort Project was held in Sanzhualun Township.

Sanzhualun Nianlun Hot Spring Resort ProjectTotal investment of nearly 2 billion yuan, it is a key project for Jing'an County to create a 5A-level scenic area. Relying on the good ecological and water resources of Sanzhualun National Forest Park, the project comprehensively integrates core tourism resources in the area, packages them as a whole, and transforms and upgrades them, striving to create a "forest-style life tourism and vacation" destination integrating hot spring vacations, rafting adventures, and Zen experiences, focusing on parent-child families, team outings, and leisure vacations, providing places for leisure, sports, health and wellness, and study tours, to meet the new needs of all age groups for forest-style life.

The completion and operation of this project will greatly make up for the shortcomings of Jing'an's tourism, enrich Jing'an's tourism formats, accelerate the creation of Sanzhualun 5A-level scenic area, polish the tourism brand "There is a life called Jing'an", and has important demonstration significance.

Jinxiu Dabie Mountain Tourism Resort Project


On November 12, the signing ceremony for the Jinxiu Dabie Mountain Tourism Resort Project was held.

It is understood that the Jinxiu Dabie Mountain Tourism Resort Project is located in the Huoshan County Economic Development Zone,with a total investment of 1.028 billion yuan.The project will be carried out in two phases. Phase I covers an area of approximately 147 mu, including a circular rotating theater with 2,800-3,200 seats, three outdoor performance areas and a环形 water system; a folk-style antique commercial street with water features and lake surfaces; a cute pet paradise, parent-child performance area, outdoor performance square, parking lot, etc., expected to be completed and operational by the end of 2024.

Quanzhou Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea Animal Kingdom Park Project


On November 7, at the Second Fujian Marine Culture Forum held in Quanzhou, 33 marine economy projects were matched and signed, with a total investment of 30.2 billion yuan, mainly involving marine infrastructure, offshore engineering equipment, and comprehensive utilization of marine biological resources. Among them, 12 projects were signed on-site, including the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea Animal Kingdom Park project.

It is reported that the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea Animal Kingdom Park project features immersive animal-themed experiences and interactions, aiming to create the most experiential animal-themed park in China, with an investment of 3 billion yuan.

Silk Road Horse City Cultural Industry Demonstration Park Project


On November 12, Bole City held a signing ceremony for the Silk Road Horse City Cultural Industry Demonstration Park project.

In recent years, Bole City has closely aligned with the autonomous region's "Eight Major Industrial Clusters" and the autonomous prefecture's requirements for the integrated development of the "Bo-Wen-Sai" cultural tourism and health wellness industry. By deeply exploring local historical and cultural resources, the city promotes the integrated development of culture and tourism industries, aiming to make the cultural tourism and health wellness industry a key engine driving high-quality economic development in Bole City.

It is understood that the Silk Road Horse City Cultural Industry Demonstration Park project plans to invest 600 million yuan, building a new large-scale indoor live-action performance "Qianlima" and supporting facilities, a "Silk Road" gourmet culture experience street, an equestrian experience park, an equestrian training hall, and more. The project will be fully implemented in 2024.

Upon completion, the project will fill the gap in the development of Bole City's horse culture industry, becoming another landmark tourist distribution center and destination in Bortala Prefecture, adding new momentum to the regional economic integration of the "Bo-Wen-Sai" cultural tourism and health wellness industry in the autonomous prefecture, and promoting the high-quality development of Bortala's cultural tourism economy.

Qingyuan City signs 27 cultural and tourism projects


On November 15, the 2023 Qingyuan Tourism Development Conference was held in Qingxin District. The Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism will increase efforts to actively support Qingyuan in developing the cultural and tourism industry, further enriching cultural and tourism formats, accelerating industrial upgrading, promoting deep integration of agriculture, culture, tourism, sports, and health, and enhancing the influence and appeal of cultural and tourism brands, striving to build Qingyuan into a well-known tourism destination in the Greater Bay Area.

At the event, 27 cultural and tourism projects were signed, with a total amount exceeding 5 billion yuan. Leading cultural and tourism enterprises such as Guangdong Tourism Holdings Group, Fosun, Shanghai Junyao (Group), and Xiangyuan Holdings Group signed agreements to establish operations in Qingyuan.
