CALI Leaders Investigate Industry Development in Zhongshan

From March 17-19, He Ye, Vice President of the China National Light Industry Federation and Chairman of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), Liu Shengping, Vice Chairman of CALI, along with Secretariat staff, visited Zhongshan to investigate the development of the lighting industry. The research team visited local enterprises in Guzhen and Henglan, gaining an in-depth understanding of the current development status of the local lighting industry, and held discussions with local government, industry organizations and enterprise representatives on future development directions, main existing problems and measures, gaining an in-depth understanding of enterprise needs.

CALI Conducts Research in Guzhen Town, Zhongshan City

Guzhen Town in Zhongshan City is an industrial cluster jointly designated by the China National Light Industry Federation and the China Association of Lighting Industry as the 'Capital of China's Decorative Lighting'. After more than 20 years of rapid development, Guzhen Town has relied on the decorative lighting industry to actively plan the development of the entire lighting industry, continuously introducing enterprises in the fields of intelligence, digitalization and health that are deeply related to the lighting industry to invest and set up factories in Guzhen. This year, it has also signed investment projects with Hongyan Electric, NVC and Huawei, empowering the lighting industry to develop toward intelligence and systematization.

On March 17, Chairman He Ye and Vice Chairman Liu Shengping visited Zhongshan Shidun Electric Co., Ltd., which introduced investment in Guzhen. Shidun Electric General Manager Wang Biao accompanied them on a tour of the company's production workshop, laboratory, and experience center, introducing Shidun Electric's development history, current production situation, and future development plans. They also exchanged views on current smart technology, customer needs, and standards. Chairman He Ye affirmed the achievements Shidun Electric has made in smart lighting. She stated that Shidun Electric should continue to develop rapidly and with high quality in terms of technology, standards, and market promotion. She hoped that Shidun Electric could fully leverage its advantages, take advantage of Guzhen Town's regional strengths in the decorative lighting industry, further strengthen its influence in the lighting industry, and play a role in intelligent manufacturing.

On the afternoon of March 17, CALI Vice Chairman Liu Shengping and Secretary-General Wang Zhuo attended the "Talking About the Future" Exchange and Matchmaking Conference for social organizations in the lighting and decorative lighting industry and national luminaire markets, organized by the Guzhen Town Government. Kuang Zhi, Party Secretary of Guzhen Town, Ruan Zhili, Deputy Party Secretary and Town Mayor, as well as the head of the Guzhen Town Federation of Industry and Commerce, together with lighting industry organizations from various regions and representatives from national decorative lighting professional markets and enterprises, jointly exchanged and discussed the current situation, future market demand, and development of Guzhen's lighting industry. Vice Chairman Liu Shengping expressed appreciation for the efforts made by Guzhen Town in strengthening connections with luminaire markets across the country, and affirmed the achievements made by Guzhen Town in attracting investment with the support of the Zhongshan Municipal Government and in broadening the introduction of lighting industry-related technologies. She stated that the government's introduction of modern lighting enterprises has increased the scientific nature of the industry, and hoped that Guzhen Town could deeply explore new opportunities in the lighting industry in terms of talent, science, and technology, empowering the lighting industry.

CALI Conducts Research in Henglan Town, Zhongshan City

On the afternoon of March 18, China Association of Lighting Industry Vice Chairman Liu Shengping and her delegation visited Henglan Town, the China Lighting and Decorative Lighting Manufacturing Base, for investigation and research. Accompanied by Henglan Town Deputy Party Secretary Hu Xiaoyu and others, the research team successively visited Zhongshan Lande Electronics Co., Ltd., Guangdong Dongling Power Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Zhenhui Fire Technology Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Aocate New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., to inspect on site the production and operation conditions of enterprises in Henglan Town.

The research team also held a seminar with the Henglan Town Government and representatives of lighting enterprises. Both parties exchanged views on issues such as decorative lighting product sales, patent research and development, development of new varieties and new technologies, and revenue generation in domestic and foreign markets. They also discussed solutions to bottlenecks encountered in the development process of enterprises, providing new ideas for the development of Henglan's decorative lighting industry. Henglan Town Party Secretary Li Xiangyu expressed gratitude to CALI for its concern for the development of Henglan's decorative lighting industry as well as various economic and social undertakings, and stated that Henglan would embark on a new path of high-quality development by helping enterprises become bigger and stronger, building innovative industries, and continuously making efforts in science and technology. Vice Chairman Liu Shengping fully affirmed the achievements made in the development of Henglan Town's decorative lighting industry. She hoped that the town party committee, town government, and various enterprises should continue to maintain good communication and exchanges, actively cultivate and guide the transformation and upgrading of decorative lighting enterprises, support enterprise brand building, attach importance to decorative lighting patent research and development, and continuously promote the healthy development of the decorative lighting supply chain, providing continuous momentum for the high-quality development of Henglan's economy and society.
