Leaders of CALI Attend the 28th Guzhen Lighting Fair

On March 18, 2023, the 4-day 28th China·Guzhen International Decorative Lighting Expo grandly opened at the Light Capital Guzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province! This Lighting Expo is hosted by the People's Government of Zhongshan City and the China Association of Lighting Industry, and organized by the People's Government of Guzhen Town, Zhongshan City, and Zhongshan Guzhen Dengdu Expo Co., Ltd. It has been successfully selected as part of the Ministry of Commerce's "2023Consumption Boost Year"series of activities, and is also an important economic and trade activity of the Zhongshan Municipal Government's "Yue Trade Nationwide, Quality Made in Zhongshan"initiative.

The expo uses the Light Capital Guzhen Convention and Exhibition Center as the main venue, with Lihe Lighting Expo Center, Huayi Plaza, Star Alliance, Dengdu Times Square, Guyi Ruifeng International Lighting Accessories City, Guyi QingfengLEDTrade Plaza, Guzhen Chang'an Lighting Accessories Electronics City, and Caosan International Lighting Accessories City Luminaire Market as branch venues, with a total exhibition area exceeding 1.5million square meters, attracting over 3,500exhibiting companies, the highest number in the history of the expo.

At 10:00AM, the opening ceremony of the 28thGuzhen Lighting Fair was held in the presence of leaders and guests from various levels, commercial counselors from multiple consulates in Guangzhou, representatives of leading industry enterprises, industry experts, designers, high-quality foreign buyers, representatives of major domestic lighting markets, domestic business associations, and media friends. He Ye, Vice President of the China National Light Industry Council and Chairman of the China Association of Lighting Industry, attended and delivered a speech. He Ye, Chairman of the China Association of Lighting Industry（中国照明电器协会）, stated in his address: 2023 is a year for clearing the clouds and restoring confidence. The lighting industry will surely gain greater space for development and achieve higher-quality growth in the new round of development towards building a modern socialist country in all respects during the new era.

It is striving to deliver a brilliant answer sheet for the construction of the reform and innovation experimental zone. 开幕式现场，还举办了13个投资项目签约仪式，包括鸿雁智慧家居生产基地、雷士光电产业链主项目、无人机及芯片项目等，预计投资额超30亿元，产值超80亿元。有对灯饰照明产业起“强链”作用的半导体封装与灯饰照明领头企业，也有“补链”作用的新一代信息显示技术设备制造；既有应用前景广阔的无人机制造项目，也有符合“碳达峰碳中和”政策的新能源配件制造及为工业污染进行绿色低碳处理的装备制造项目。

It is reported that since February leading up to the Lighting Fair, Guzhen Town has been holding trade activities focused on strengthening and supplementing the decorative lighting industry chain, carrying out investment promotion and capacity expansion for the local decorative lighting industrial cluster, continuously enhancing independent innovation capabilities in the decorative lighting industry, actively promoting industrial transformation and upgrading, and providing strong support for the high-quality development of Guzhen Town.
