(Base for Professional Competency Evaluation in the Light Industry (Lighting) Sector), and co-organized by Foshan Electric Appliance Lighting Co., Ltd., the Foshan session of the Level 3 Lighting Designer training program has successfully completed its first phase of online learning. The online theoretical assessment was held on March 18. With the efforts of all participants, the mastery of theoretical knowledge has been highly effective, and the vast majority of trainees achieved good results.

On March 20 at 8:30, the Level 3 Lighting design training class held its offline opening ceremony at the Foshan Lighting headquarters in Foshan City, Guangdong Province.

The offline opening ceremony was hosted by Hong Bing, head of Wuxi Lide Times Technology Co., Ltd. (Light Industry (Lighting) Industry Professional Competency Evaluation Base). Wang Zhuo, Secretary-General of the China Association of Lighting Industry(中国照明电器协会), and Yang Chenglin, Director of Large Engineering Channels at Foshan Lighting, attended the ceremony and delivered important speeches. Secretary-General Wang pointed out in his speech that, in accordance with central and national policy deployments, vocational education is currently a national policy vigorously promoted by the state. In the future, competition will not be about manpower but about talent. Currently, there are urgent issues to be addressed, such as the generally low level of consumer awareness regarding lighting applications in China and the transformation of domestic manufacturing. These require all trainees to enhance their professional knowledge and skills through specialized learning, thereby raising the overall professional level of the market.

General Yang emphasized the necessity of cultivating lighting designers, set disciplinary requirements for the students, and hoped that everyone would pass the exam through serious study and successfully obtain the Level 3 Lighting Designer certificate.

Teacher Duan Jintao, guest associate professor at Shanghai Visual Arts College and head teacher of this training class on the Visual Light Design Education Platform, introduced the course schedule, teaching guidelines, exam requirements, and practical training details.

After , all members took a group photo and visited the Foshan Lighting exhibition hall.

This offline training and assessment will be conducted from March 20 to 25, 2023. The successful holding of the opening ceremony will create a strong start for this training line and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
