According to Huati Technology's WeChat official account on March 13, focusing on "green, intelligent, and innovative" as the main direction, and using "new concepts, new technologies, and new products" as the development engine, the company deeply integrates new infrastructure with new energy to explore the development path of the new energy industry. For the first time in the industry, the company proposed the concept of "roadside distributed energy storage network based on smart streetlights".

Huati Technology stated that the "roadside distributed energy storage network based on smart streetlights" leverages the widespread distribution and numerous locations of urban road streetlights. By utilizing existing lamp poles and power supply networks without adding new facilities or occupying urban space, the poles integrate dedicated energy storage modules for streetlights , forming a wide-area distributed energy storage network . Through edge-side EMS energy routers for load forecasting, response allocation, and real-time scheduling, it effectively ensures the coordinated operation of "grid, storage, and load," building an efficient and safe "energy internet network" on the roadside.

Specifically, integrate roadside distributed ultra-fast charging and energy storage columns onto existing street light poles, including wind energy and photovoltaic panels, smart streetlight energy storage compartments, super fast charging, emergency energy interfaces, and dedicated string-type energy storage modules. During off-peak grid hours, the energy storage system charges; during peak grid hours, it discharges, storing up to 3000 kWh per kilometer.

Liang Xi, Chairman and President of Huati Technology, pointed out that the company utilizes urban street lights equipped with battery energy storage to build a distributed energy storage network. This approach can resolve the issue of ultra-fast charging locations for new energy vehicles, enabling every street light to serve as an ultra-fast charging point; it achieves peak shaving and valley filling, manages time-of-use electricity pricing, and reduces electricity costs; it provides emergency backup power to ensure electrical safety after grid outages; and it can function as a virtual power plant, participating in the ancillary services market to increase investment returns.

In fact, Huati Technology has been striving to leverage "small entry points" to unlock "great possibilities." The company's electric bicycle charging Solution "Anyichong" has been widely applied in Anhui Province and Renshou County, Sichuan Province, forming a regional charging energy network.

To address the shortage of new energy charging stations on urban roads, Huati Technology uses smart streetlights as a base, equipped with intelligent charging devices, to create roadside charging scenarios. Last November, the company launched the first "smart streetlight + charging pile" demonstration section on Jinhe Road in Shuangliu District, Chengdu, and this scenario has since been replicated on multiple roads in Shuangliu District.
