$6.044 billion! Industry exports continued to recover in the first two months of 2023

Data released by the General Administration of Customs shows that China's total import and export volume decreased by 0.8% year-on-year (YoY) in January–February 2023, with exports growing by 0.9%. On March 12, Kang Yi, Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, stated during an interview on the "Ministerial Channel" at the Two Sessions that China remains the world's largest goods trading nation, and its doors to opening up are widening further.

According to the latest bulletin on key export commodities released by the General Administration of Customs , in January–February 2023, China's exports of "Luminaire, lighting devices and their parts" reached USD 6.044 billion. This figure continues the gradual recovery trend in lighting product exports since November last year.

2023年以来,照明行业生产经营快速恢复,照明企业积极出海争抢订单,为实现全年行业有序发展打下坚实基础。据中国照明电器协会对部分重点企业调研了解,春节以后9成企业已开工,员工到岗率和产线开工率超过80%。从照明全产业链看,8成出口型企业表示出口订单获得增长,同比增长5%-20%,当前生产订单排期集中在3-5月。大部分企业认为上半年出口市场趋势均稳中向好。
