Due to the chip supply shortage in 2021, manufacturers in the general LED lighting sector adopted a more aggressive inventory strategy, resulting in a prolonged de-stocking cycle in 2022. Changes in the supply-demand relationship led to a decline in the gross profit margin of general LED driver chips and a significant increase in asset impairment losses compared to the previous period. Furthermore, to meet the needs of future product layout and business expansion, the company continued to strengthen its efforts in recruiting high-level talent and increasing R&D investment. In 2022, R&D expenses accounted for over 20% of Revenue. Additionally, to address the overall sluggishness in the consumer market, the company intensified its market development efforts, leading to an increase in selling expenses. These factors combined resulted in a Year-on-year (YoY) decline in Net profit for the company.
