Notice on Launching Level-3 Lighting Designer Training
To implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the construction of skilled vocational talent, carry out the state's plans and deployments for building a skilled workforce, strengthen the cultivation of innovative, applied, and skilled talents in the lighting industry, and under the guidance of the China Light Industry Federation, the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) is carrying out vocational skills training and occupational skill level evaluation work for the entire society to provide a high-quality talent system guarantee for the innovative development of the lighting industry.
With the development of lighting technology and design concepts, industry practitioners need to participate in training activities to learn about the application of various new technologies and models in the field of lighting. At the same time, possessing a solid foundation in lighting design has become an inevitable requirement for product manufacturing enterprises to enhance their business expansion capabilities, align with users' actual application needs, and transition towards service-oriented manufacturing. To improve the knowledge literacy and professional skills of practitioners related to lighting design, and to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of lighting enterprises towards service-oriented manufacturing, China Association of Lighting Industry will hold a Level 3 Lighting Designer Training Course from March 13 to 25, 2023, in Foshan. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

Training Schedule and Fees
1. Training Format and Content
This program adopts an O2O learning model combining online and offline channels. The total training duration is 11 days (including 5 days of online training, 5 days of offline training, and 1 day for assessment) . The curriculum mainly covers theoretical knowledge such as introduction to design, lighting and design fundamentals, lighting safety and measurement, as well as practical skills including lighting software application, lighting calculations, luminaire selection, and drafting lighting construction drawings. It also features specialized content like luminaire design. Upon successful completion of the assessment, participants will receive a professional competency evaluation certificate jointly issued by the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) and the China Council for the Promotion of Light Industry .
