On February 15, Xingyu Automotive Lighting Systems and Horizon Robotics signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Changzhou, announcing that they will take "automotive-grade chips + algorithms" as the core foundation. Leveraging Xingyu's years of experience in intelligent manufacturing, with "integrated driving and parking" as the entry point and "compliance with automotive standards, achieving mass production, and meeting delivery requirements" as the business cooperation goals, they will join forces with OEMs, component suppliers, and other strategic partners to jointly promote the mass production and implementation of the "integrated driving and parking solution".
Xingyu Shares The "integrated driving and parking" Solution based on the Horizon Journey®3 automotive-grade chip has been officially nominated by a leading domestic automaker, with mass production expected in 2023.
The solution uses only a single Journey®3 chip, paired with a 5R6V sensor configuration, to easily deliver L2+ driving assistance features including lane change assist. Meanwhile, through software and algorithm optimization, it achieves time-division multiplexing of computing resources, enabling parking assistance functions such as fused parking on the same SoC chip. This solution fully unlocks the potential of Journey®3 through its unique software architecture design, enhancing product competitiveness with high cost-effectiveness, thereby allowing end users of more entry-level models to experience the convenience brought by driving and parking assistance features.
