Hisense Visual becomes the controlling shareholder of Qianzhao Optoelectronics

On January 31, 2023, Hisense Visual and Sanan Optoelectronics jointly announced that Hisense Visual has been recognized as the controlling shareholder of Sanan Optoelectronics.

According to the announcement released by Hisense Visual, a listed company under the Hisense Group : As of January 31, 2023, the company has cumulatively invested 1.605 billion yuan in Qianzhao Optoelectronics (300102), holding 22.88% of Qianzhao Optoelectronics' shares. The company has obtained control over Qianzhao Optoelectronics and become its controlling shareholder.

Qianzhao Optoelectronics issued a joint announcement: the company has changed from having no controlling shareholder to having Hisense Visual as its controlling shareholder.

Hisense Visual stated in the announcement: To further strengthen Hisense Visual's strategic layout in the display industry chain, accelerate the R&D and product promotion of new technologies such as Mini LED and Micro LED, establish future resource advantages in the market and supply chain, and consolidate the company's leading position in the display industry, Hisense Visual acquired control of Qianzhao Optoelectronics through external investment and became its controlling shareholder. Hisense Visual's investment in Qianzhao Optoelectronics and acquisition of its control does not constitute a related-party transaction, nor does it constitute a major asset restructuring as prescribed by the "Administrative Measures for Major Asset Restructuring of Listed Companies".
