The Secretariat of the China Illuminating Engineering Society convened the 2022 annual work summary and 2023 work deployment meeting
On January 11, 2023, the CALI (China Association of Lighting Industry) Secretariat convened a meeting to summarize work for 2022 and deploy tasks for 2023, comprehensively reviewing the Secretariat's activities in 2022 and arranging all work for the new year. He Ye, Vice President of the China National Light Industry Council and Chairman of CALI, presided over the meeting and delivered an important speech. Liu Shengping, Executive Chairman of CALI, provided commentary on the Secretariat's work. Secretary-General Wang Zhuo and all staff members attended the meeting.

Chairperson He Ye gave full affirmation to the China Illuminating Engineering Society Secretariat's work in 2022. She stated that the association's overall spirit is positive and proactive, demonstrating responsibility; both organizational work and individual capabilities have achieved breakthroughs and improvements to varying degrees. While affirming these achievements, she also pointed out several shortcomings: there is still room for expansion in exploring industry development trends and hot topics; understanding of enterprises' development needs remains insufficient; and service methods remain relatively traditional. She suggested that the Secretariat strengthen problem-oriented thinking, maintain confidence in overcoming difficulties, innovate working methods, and continuously improve and enhance comprehensive professional competence.

President of the China Association of Lighting Industry
He Ye
Regarding the Secretariat's work for the new year, Chairman He Ye put forward four requirements: First, remember the mission and actively serve in four areas. To effectively deliver these four services, we must implement national strategies across five dimensions: technological self-reliance, standards and quality, digital economy, green low-carbon development, and consumption expansion; grasp industry trends and deeply understand enterprise needs. Second, strengthen learning with no limit to capability enhancement. Comprehensively improve overall strength in market development, resource development and aggregation, event planning and organization, publicity and promotion, and basic business operations. Third, cherish the platform to achieve success and open a new chapter. We must properly handle the relationship between the platform and individual development, growing together. Fourth, strengthen the Secretariat's own construction. Innovate new work approaches, enhance collaboration among departments, and form a unified force.
Liu Shengping, Executive Chairman of the Council, commented on the work of the Secretariat. She pointed out that the Association's overall work in 2022 saw significant improvement. In the new year, we hope everyone will strengthen confidence, move forward with determination, innovate courageously, actively seek change, and forge ahead with initiative.
Secretary-General Wang Zhuo provided a comprehensive overview of the Secretariat's work in 2022 and outlined plans and deployments for key tasks in 2023.
At the meeting, all personnel summarized their work achievements in 2022 based on their respective areas of responsibility, identified problems and shortcomings, and proposed improvement plans and suggestions. In 2023, the Association Secretariat will deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress, proactively grasp the new requirements for the lighting industry development in the new era, and focus on six key areas of work around the development goal of "serving national strategic needs and promoting the construction of a lighting power"—continuing to advance the "Three Ones" brand project; strengthening technology promotion; releasing new momentum in standardization work; conducting in-depth industry research and data analysis; deepening the four services; and stimulating organizational vitality within the Secretariat and its branches. Everyone unanimously expressed that in the new year, they will enhance their initiative, strengthen control over work details, continuously improve professional knowledge and comprehensive service capabilities, and actively innovate to adapt to industry development trends. United in purpose and effort, let us open a new chapter in the Association's work!
