Rfeng Optoelectronics Executive Personnel Changes

Refond Optoelectronics announced on the evening of January 6 that at its first meeting of the fifth board of directors held on January 6, 2023, it deliberated and approved the "Proposal to Appoint the General Manager," "Proposal to Appoint the Deputy General Manager," "Proposal to Appoint the Chief Financial Officer," "Proposal to Appoint the Board Secretary," and "Proposal to Appoint the Head of Internal Audit."

Announcement shows:

1. The company's board of directors agrees to appoint Mr. Gong Weibin as the General Manager of the company. The term of office is consistent with that of the fifth board of directors.

It is reported that Mr. Gong Weibin founded Shenzhen Refond Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. in 2000 and has served as Executive Director (Chairman) and General Manager since then. From March 2010 to the present, he has held the positions of Chairman and General Manager of the company. As of now, Mr. Gong Weibin holds 140,578,000 shares of the company.

2. The company's board of directors agrees to appoint Mr. Chen Hua, Mr. Xu Zhou, and Mr. Wang Fei as Deputy General Managers of the company. Their term of office shall be consistent with that of the Fifth Board of Directors.

It is reported that Mr. Wang Fei joined the company in 2010, engaged in LED device development and FAE-related work, serving as Head of the FAE Section in the R&D Department. In 2012, he became the Backlight Product Manager. He currently serves as Director and General Manager of the subsidiary Shenzhen Lingtao Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., and has been Deputy General Manager of the company since April 2019.

Mr. Chen Hua joined the company in March 2013, successively serving as R&D Manager, Product Manager, and Marketing Director; he currently holds the position of General Manager of our product lines.

Mr. Xu Zhou, since September 2022, has served as Vice President of the Company's Operations Center and General Manager of Hubei Ruihua Optoelectronics Co., Ltd.

3. The company's board of directors agrees to appoint Mr. Chen Yonggang as the company's financial director. The term of office is consistent with that of the fifth board of directors.

4. The company's board of directors has agreed to appoint Ms. Liu Yafang as the Secretary of the Board of Directors. Her term shall be consistent with that of the Fifth Board of Directors.

5. The company's board of directors agrees to appoint Ms. Luo Tao as the head of internal audit. The term of office shall be consistent with that of the fifth board of directors.

Meanwhile, the announcement states: Due to the expiration of his term, Mr. Wu Qiang will no longer serve as Deputy General Manager of the company, nor hold any other position within the company; Mr. Ge Zhijian will no longer serve as Deputy General Manager but will continue to hold other important positions in the company.
