Sanan Optoelectronics: Cumulative subsidies received in 2022 amounted to 558 million yuan

Recently, Sanan Optoelectronics announced in a public statement that it has cumulatively received government subsidies totaling 558 million yuan this year.

The announcement shows that Sanan Optoelectronics and its wholly-owned subsidiary have cumulatively received government subsidies related to income amounting to RMB 558,299,600 (unaudited) this year. Of this amount, RMB 400,000,000 was disclosed on March 9, 2022, and June 22, 2022, at the Shanghai Stock Exchange in compliance with information disclosure obligations. Other daily government subsidies totaled RMB 158,299,600.

According to the subsidy detail table, the wholly-owned subsidiaries that received subsidies include: Hubei Sanan, Hunan Sanan Semiconductor, Quanzhou Sanan Semiconductor, Xiamen Sanan Optoelectronics, Xiamen Sanan Semiconductor, Xiamen Sanan Integrated, Tianjin Sanan, Wuhu Anrui Optoelectronics, and Chongqing Anrui Optoelectronics. Among them, the two largest payments of 200 million yuan each were made to Hunan Sanan Semiconductor and Quanzhou Sanan Semiconductor; both projects involved fiscal subsidies for the three major scientific and technological funds.

Currently, Hunan Sanan Semiconductor is constructing a silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductor industrialization project and has signed a SiC chip procurement contract worth 3.8 billion yuan. Quanzhou Sanan Semiconductor is building the first phase of its semiconductor R&D and industrialization project as well as an integrated circuit industrialization project, focusing respectively on gallium nitride (GaN), gallium arsenide (GaAs), and specialty packaging businesses, including filter and packaging operations.

值得一提的是，泉州三安半导体与TCL华星合资成立的芯颖显示Micro LED技术研发项目也在今年初正式开工了，芯颖显示拟在厦门火炬荟智空间建设Micro LED研发平台，购置Micro LED巨量转移、键合、检测及修复等设备，致力于新型半导体显示技术的研发及Micro LED显示项目的产业化。

In the first half of this year, Hunan Sanan Optoelectronics achieved revenue of 209 million yuan and a net profit of 90.46 million yuan. Quanzhou Sanan Optoelectronics achieved revenue of 1.38 billion yuan and a net profit of 333 million yuan. Cumulatively for the first three quarters, Sanan Optoelectronics has achieved total revenue of 10.012 billion yuan and a net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company of 987 million yuan.
